Fewer Resale Listings?

The latest Timeshare Store email from today had 11 new BCV listing, but not a single new BWV listing.

I think they have had some typos, this one had them all with October UYs and the last one they sent repeated the same listings like ten times.

I too have noticed few UYs for the Dec-Mar I am looking for...

It is truly amazing how the landscape has changed. I went into ROFR on march 8th, at that time i literally had my choice of amount of points, as well as UY. Now that i have closed i can admit how increidibly lucky i got both in contract, price and timeliness of my contract, as well as the cooperation of my seller.

I noticed those Oct listings last Friday on their site. If you look at the listing numbers they're all the same with addendum numbers or letters -1,-2, -A. It looks to me as though a single seller is selling off part or all of their of BCV contracts. I could be wrong though.

ETA: there appears to be two different sellers/contracts with the bulk Oct UY. One ending in 0501 with 10(?) contracts and one ending in 0424 with 8(?) contracts.

We are looking for a 75-100 pt add-on at BCV but have a dilemma, we are buying a new house and are not closing for 6 weeks so really wanted to wait until after we buy our house to spend more money. Of course there has been virtually no contracts that size available, but now that we agreed to purchase this house suddenly somebody lists 10 contracts that fit what we were looking for!!!! Is this somebody's cruel joke? Oh well, all in due time.

I can't believe the lack of BWV contracts. We're in the ROFR period on a BWV contract right now and with all the activity with Disney exercising during April, I have been paying closer attention than I intended to wrt other deals out there in case we'd have to start over. It seems like the minute we sent ours in (April 10th-11th) resales at BWV evaporated and there's been almost nothing listed there since! But I've seen the news of some folks' BWV contracts passing ROFR just recently (Congrats!!) at slightly lower pp prices than our contract, so I'm feeling more hopeful that ours will go through. But that still makes me wonder what's the sudden rush for BWV contracts!?

Well look at it this way...maybe they won't sell by the time you close on your house and the sellers will take a lower price.

I think it's because I just started looking seriously for BWV contracts, so naturally there aren't many .

Thanks (if you were meaning me), but I won't really feel confident about it until we pass ROFR. Fingers crossed! It was easy in the beginning but as each day goes by it seems harder to wait.... Don't worry - something will eventually come along for you. I keep telling myself this too, in case this contract gets taken and we need to begin all over again!

We just passed ROFR today for BWV I was seriously scouring the listings this weekend and was planning to try for a BCV contract instead because I think there is more negotiating room with now. I'm so relieved we are not back to the drawing board.
