festival of the arts

I think it depends on whether you make a concerted effort to take part in some of the paid offerings. The free stuff we liked, but it wasn't that amazing that I'd structure my trip around it. The only exception was the Broadway shows - Kara Lindsey was awesome - go see her!

we live 4 hours south of wdw, and wifey is the artsy type! is coming for a friday/saturday home sunday worth it for the festival of the arts is there enough to see & do? we are AP FL residents probably stay @pop. WWYD?
I agree - I think we could find enough to do those days. There are a number of artists there selling their work, and your wife might find it interesting to talk to them. And then there are the food booths, and hopefully some of the activities they've had in the past.

We went in Feb. 2020, just before the "big shutdown". We thought the food was amazing, better than F&W I thought.

We enjoy it, we probably wouldn't spend all day for two days there but we always spend a part of every single day of our trip there.

We love Festival of the Arts and booked our trip around it running. Much of it has to do with taking the time to enjoy what is offered and participate. For us, yes, it would be worth it.

EPCOT Festival of the Arts
We've booked a couple of trips around it too. We really enjoy seeing what's out there and also being able to visit with the artists.

We love it and scheduled an early February trip pretty much because of this festival. We love looking at the chalk drawings on the ground, the artist booths, painting the little squares in the large group painting they have up daily, the food, the broadway performances - literally everything. We have not done paid things but would consider it if they have it next year.

I always like to take advantage of our holiday discounts we get at CMs, so I decided to go to Disneyland this January. (I love the Disneyland Hotel, but it's a bit too pricy for me without the discount we get.) Anyway, once I realized that would mean I'd have to miss the Festival of the Arts, I redid my schedule to do the following:

Friday - fly early to MCO to spend the day at Epcot
Saturday - fly early to LAX for Disneyland trip

Was the money for the extra flight and night at Caribbean Beach worth it? Absolutely. Will the extra plane time and travel be a lot? Sure. But I love Disney art. I've been to all the Epcot festivals except the holiday one, and it's by far my favorite. I did an Ink and Paint Workshop one year and had a blast. I collect Wonderground post cards, and the festival has so many unique ones. (They sometimes end up on the shops later, but not always.)

I can't wait for my hybrid Epcot/Disneyland trip!!! Sometimes, you just gotta make it work. :)
