Any suggestions for a good place to sit and eat lunch during the Festival of Fantasy parade at MK? We will have 7 adults and 2 children in strollers.

Thank you!

Last week we went all the way to the end of Main Street and sat at the flag pole looking at the castle. So we had a great view—the parade was come directly head on to us. We arrived 30 minutes before the 1200 parade. It was full but not shoulder to shoulder. The rope is about 2 feet behind the curb and CMs will make you be completely behind the rope. A woman tried to sit on the curb in front of the rope about 5 minutes before and they made her get up. Of course she squeezed her way in between me and the other family beside me so it got tight after that

Thanks for the suggestion! Are there QS food locations nearby?

If you can’t sit on the curb, where do you sit. Just crisscross on the ground. I have POTS and can’t stand long without passing out.

There aren't a lot of places where you can sit and eat. The curbs on main street fill up 45 minutes to an hour before the start.

Across from Country Bear Jamboree usually has space for everyone.

I’ve heard that’s a great spot ,but I plan to see if this is true, because the parade starts over there, so after it goes by, you are free to go on rides, etc., while a ton of people are still waiting for the parade to even get to them

Before Covid, a large part of that area was roped off for VIP tour groups. There was still some space off to the side by the stairs that anyone could claim.
Ahhh - too bad, it seemed like a little bit of a secret back on our previous trips but it's been several years for us. Got some great pics from up there.

Yes on the ground or stand. There are some benches in the flag pole area but people will likely come and sit or stand in front of them.

Yes! It makes it easy to get to Big Thunder or Splash Mountain.

Sorry to highjack an old thread…
Is the outdoor seating for Columbia Harbour House a viable option to watch the 12:00 parade?
What about Casey’s corner?
Or the Hub Grass? (Although that would be in direct sunlight so definitely not ideal…)

My family usually sits on the ground in front of Hall of Presidents or along the rope in Frontierland. We grab food from Columbia House and just carry a tray until we find a spot 30-45 minutes before the parade. We try to get right on the rope so no one squeezes in.

My go to parade/cavalcade spot is in between mansion & hall of presidents.. there is a marketplace in that area that has pretzels and I think maybe hot dogs as well as fresh fruit or there are ice cream/popcorn carts within a reasonable walking distance
