Any suggestions for a good place to sit and eat lunch during the Festival of Fantasy parade at MK? We will have 7 adults and 2 children in strollers.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks for the suggestion! Are there QS food locations nearby?Last week we went all the way to the end of Main Street and sat at the flag pole looking at the castle. So we had a great view—the parade was come directly head on to us. We arrived 30 minutes before the 1200 parade. It was full but not shoulder to shoulder. The rope is about 2 feet behind the curb and CMs will make you be completely behind the rope. A woman tried to sit on the curb in front of the rope about 5 minutes before and they made her get up. Of course she squeezed her way in between me and the other family beside me so it got tight after that
Casey’s would be the nearest but it is a zoo that time of day. The confectionary is right there so you could have sweets for lunchThanks for the suggestion! Are there QS food locations nearby?
If you can’t sit on the curb, where do you sit. Just crisscross on the ground. I have POTS and can’t stand long without passing out.Last week we went all the way to the end of Main Street and sat at the flag pole looking at the castle. Across from Country Bear Jamboree usually has space for everyone.
We like to sit up on the train station balcony - assuming that area is closed since the train is not running?
Ahhh - too bad, it seemed like a little bit of a secret back on our previous trips but it's been several years for us. Got some great pics from up there. Before Covid, a large part of that area was roped off for VIP tour groups. There was still some space off to the side by the stairs that anyone could claim.
Yes on the ground or stand. There are some benches in the flag pole area but people will likely come and sit or stand in front of them.If you can’t sit on the curb, where do you sit. Just crisscross on the ground. I have POTS and can’t stand long without passing out.
The train station balcony is open at the end of main street for fireworks viewing. We like to sit up on the train station balcony - assuming that area is closed since the train is not running?
I’ve heard that’s a great spot ,but I plan to see if this is true, because the parade starts over there, so after it goes by, you are free to go on rides, etc., while a ton of people are still waiting for the parade to even get to them
