Fess up! How many adults still watch...

I've always loved cartoons. But I'm a bit of a cartoon snob. Only the original Scooby-Doo (the ones with the songs are the BEST!), Tom and Jerry (Fred Quimby only), original Looney Tunes, old school Disney, the Flintstones, the Jetsons...

My DD liked Ed, Edd and Eddy when she was younger. Never really got into SpongeBob, but he's okay. We both liked Angry Beavers.

Of the new generation of stuff, I like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
"Scribble liberty!" and "Suspicious!!!" are a couple of favorite quotes ;)

I live on cartoons, forget the rest of the junk on tv. We have digital cable and I have The Disney Channel, Toon Disney, 5 Nickelodeon Channels, Cartoon Network and Boomerang.

My favorites in no peticular order are...

Scooby-Doo

Bugs Bunny, Dafy Duck, Porky Pig (AKA Lonny Toons)

Tom and Jerry

Boomerang runs what they call the zoo - Yogi Bear, Grape Ape, Breezly and Sneezly, Squiddly Diddly, Huckleberry Hound, Atom Ant etc.

Rugrats/All Grown Up

As told by Ginger

Rocket Power

The cartoons nowadays are just not the same!

I remember watching Josie and the Pussycats. I even had Josie and the Pussycats Underoos! :lmao:

Oh, I also loved the Wonder Twins. Anyone remember them? "Wonder Twin powers activate!" And then they would choose some weird shape like a bucket of water or a bird. :confused3 :goodvibes But it was fun.

Now my kids are into Rugrats and Spongebob. It's just not the same.

[we're 21 and 20yrs old, BTW...]

God this brings back memories of the old days. I used to love to run home after school and watch He-Man and the Masters of the Universe as well as She-Ra--Princess of Power, the ORIGINAL Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which now that I look back on it was as cheesy as it got) and My Little Pony. Saturday mornings were reserved for great action toons like BraveStarr , Wildfire , ReBoot as well as quirky cartoon classics like Rude Dog and the Dweebs and Hulk Hogan's Rock-n-Wrestling.

Oh yeah! Dunno who watches Boomerang more-me and the hubby, or the kids! Now that we've got cable again, I suppose I need to hunt down my favorite, Space Ghost Cartoon Planet!

Most of my friends and I were Land of the Lost kids. Recently, one friend sent out a 'little known facts about me' quiz. On it, was 'who is least likely to respond to this email?' question. One friend said "Bob, the sleestak". Bob's response was to photoshop a sleestak with his goatee, mustache and glasses!

I suppose it makes me a total geek that I even know what a sleestak is.

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You? We got some work to do now.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You? We need some help from you now.
Come on Scooby-Doo, I see you... pretending you got a sliver
But you're not fooling me, cause I can see, the way you shake and shiver.

You know we got a mystery to solve, so Scooby Doo be ready for your act.
Don't hold back!
And Scooby Doo if you come through you're gonna
have yourself a scooby snack!
That's a fact!

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, here are you. You're ready and you're willin'.
If we can count on you Scooby Doo, I know we'll catch that villian.

:dancer:

I love  all the Scooby's. OK, I can do without that annoying Scrappy.

I love Lilo and Stitch the Series. I found myself singing the theme song at work last night and this guy I work with just gave me this look. Did I mention is was my hot my aged coworker? I was so embarassed

Yup love me some cartoons!!! Tom and Jerry, most of the classics, and some of the newer ones too! How old am I again????? :thumbsup2

We have no choice in our home. DH puts on Boomerang as soon as he gets home so that he can watch Yogi bear, and all of the Looney Tunes gang with DGD. He is convinced that the old cartoons are the best thing on TV.

And he is right. I do watch rugrats, rocket power, as told by Ginger, but much prefer the old cartoons.

I do! I do...

I love watching the old Spiderman cartoon. Peter Parker (aka Spiderman) is a babe with a camera. Who else would a photographer fall in love with. :lovestruc

I also loved Voltron...I wanted to be the Blue cat... :cat:

Now I got the theme song in my head "Spiderman, spiderman. Does whatever a spider can ...."

Cowboy Bebop and Futurama. Of the shows on currently, Family Guy is my favorite.
