Fellow DVCers... do you feel like a snob?

Most of our stays are DVC, and yes it does spoil you a bit. However, I love POP, have stayed there many times, and will continue to do so. It's a fun place, and I like the food court.

POP is okay, but I just like the beds better at a DVC resort. Double and hard beds are something I prefer not to deal with. However, you can't beat the price and if you are stretching your points for as many nights as possible, sometimes an arrival night at POP makes sense to me. Everyone is friendly there, the buses are quick rides to the park. The crowds waiting for a bus after a park close can be more than I like though. But all I have to do is remind myself of how much per night we spent and that it meant we had another day at WDW.

I must admit that yes...I'm a resort snob. I have never and probably would never stay at a value resort.

I have become a hotel snob period since DVC. I refuse to stay at any hotel unless it is a 3 star or higher. Actually I prefer a 4 star and can usually get one via priceline for $50-75 per night.

Now I think I could stay at any WDW resort because I expect superior rooms from them. Have never stayed at POP or AS as we owned DVC before the came about.

I love DVC, but I have always loved staying at the other resorts as well. POR is one of my all-time favorites!

We are totally spoiled with DVC! We also are members of Hilton Grand Vacations so we often use those points when we are out of DVC for the year. But my DH and DS have stayed at POP and thoroughly enjoyed it!

I used to think of myself as somewhat of a resort snob. The first time I looked at the Values, I said there is no way I would ever stay there! Then, my mom & I decided to take a girls only Free Dining trip back in 2006. Staying at Pop made it super affordable so we chose to stay there. We have since been been back 3 times and we really enjoy it! It is a fun atmosphere. Sure it isn't as spacious as a villa but for a quick trip, it works. I wouldn't want to stay there for more three nights with my whole family but for a shorter stay with me & my boys or me & my mom, it is a great alternative to using points.

For future trips (if we don't ahve the points available) we will likely stay at POP again. I would even say that we would be more likely to stay at POP again as opposed to a moderate!
