Just waved off DH and DD(8), they are off to Orlando this morning on the VS27.

I thought it was a good idea when DH suggested giving me a week of peace over half term, hmmmmm :rolleyes1

They are staying in a Theme Park view room at the Contemporary and are flying Upper Class as a treat !!!!

I thought I was ready for a break from Disney after going 1 or 2 times a year for the last few years now I realise I am gonna miss not being there but gonna miss them more :sad1:

Aw, Babyboo, we'll look after you :goodvibes Although Theme Park view at the Contemporary and UC flights might just make me a little envious too - FWIW ;)

Plenty of friendly peeps for you to chat to here for the next week :grouphug:

That was brave of you to let them go without you - and even braver of DH to suggest it

If I suggested that DW would still come to Florida with us but spend the week in the Grand Floridian having spa treatments :goodvibes

Wow what a nice wife and mummy you are! There is no way I would let my hubby do that! :rotfl:
I agree though use the quiet time to plan your next family trip :)

Wow, I feel your pain!

Don't think I could ever be left out from going to the best place on earth! They will be back before you know it though!

UC flights and the Contemporary? I'd feel sad too! :rotfl:

Don't worry, they'll be back before you know it- hopefully with lots of nice presents for you. :goodvibes

I dont know how you could have done this, I wouldnt have been able to not return to our favourite place. Look on the bright side you have all of us to keep you company over the next week.

Ahhhh ....... thanks for all your sympathy.

When we originally talked about it last summer I thought it would be a good idea, give us a chance to take our main holiday somewhere else and I was quite happy having a year off. Now I wish I was with them and only an hour away from landing at Orlando Airport.

Well that was last summer and now i'm 29 weeks pregnant and very much doubt we'll have a big family holiday this year, so I'll have to be content with planning next years :goodvibes

Good idea. When they come home you will have the whole trip planned for next year. Just think how much you can do in a week with no interruptions ;)
