There were so many cute options, I even saw a new Dooney design at the end of the trip, it must have just come out as I didn't see any talk of it online.

I didn't stick around to find out who won. I am sure that Alek and Erich could come up with some epic tale about how they were not really playing checkers and that they were really on a super secret mission to defeat some sort of nefarious villain who was lurking about. The checkers game was just a cover.

Hm...no, that does NOT explain why he doesn't go on RNRC. I mean, people don't like that you go upside down, but it happens so fast, you can barely register it!

I think those two ladies did the Princess Half Marathon. Looks like outfits from that race. Seeing Casey's Corner in the back there....totally makes me want some corn dog nuggets. So tempting to go to Food Basics and get that HUGE bag of corn dogs...

Those parade photos are some of the best I've seen! Love how you capture the characters and their movements and the positioning.

Was the room you met Mickey in like a backstage sort of room? I think I saw pictures of that.

That is what I tell him but he does not listen. He would hate the take-off and would probably kill me if I talked him into it. The only real coaster he has been on is at King's Dominion in Virginia. Thanks! I was actually rather unhappy with the parade photos this time around. I have taken much better in the past. I blamed the new camera.

You enter in Exposition Hall and exit in a shared lobby with Tony's.

The checkers table is in front of the confectionery and hat shop on the town square.

Mickey has a fastpass line and a standby line. It was not necessary for us to get a fastpass as the line was so short. If you do decide to get a fastpass for Mickey or the princesses the fast pass machines are located between the hat shop and Tony's Town Square/Exposition Hall.

Yum dole whip! I personally prefer the vanilla soft serve with the pineapple juice, but I guess that is not a traditional dole whip.

Love the parade pics, one of these days I'm going to sit down and watch it! Maybe next trip.

Me too! WDW doesn't always have to be Go!Go!Go! There is a checkers board out on Tom Sawyer Island as well which I think is a great place to go and relax and get away from the crowds.

We hadn't planned on catching the parade but it certainly was not a hardship to stay and watch it.

I agree, I don't think people have noticed that the characters have been moved to the front of the park yet.
