Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

Ooooo... the Star Wars Parade looks wicked cool! I feel like I've missed out on so much seeing all these special parades, even if I'm not a fan of Star Wars :/ And that's so cool the guy who played C3PO was there. I may not have enjoyed Star Wars, but he just had the best voice ever  Anyways...

:thumbsup2 to trying the drawing class! I'm so jealous you got to draw Dopey! LOL @ your brother's drawings! :lmao: Great job on yours, btw! :) Awesome pictures with Mr. Pooh Bear, and I'm so glad they got a picture with the chalkboard that says "Tael" behind you. Just goes to show how we can't be cool enough to write it like that lol

LOL @ your brother's dubbing! Talk about sarcasm lol And :thumbsup2 to riding TSM! Always a fun ride :) Great pictures of your brothers with the Jawa and the Tusken Raider (I hope I don't sound like an idiot writing those out lol)

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling good that night, hope you were better the next day! :teeth:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

I love the drawing class, it somehow enables me to be able to draw, which is pretty much a miracle!

Yes, the dubbing was pretty hilarious. A good "time killer".

:rolleyes1

Hooray for meeting the Star Wars characters. :thumbsup2

It was unfortunate we didn't manage to get our picture with any of the Disney Star Wars characters. :sad2:

Love the update. I want to draw Dopey. :goodvibes

Cute pictures of you and Pooh.

Drawing Dopey was so fun! I was worried that he would be too complex for me but I managed to do a decent job!

There are only 2 1/2 more days of the vacation to cover! This report has gone by so quickly! ;) Unfortunately I will be slow on updates the next couple weeks, I need to make an attempt to be a responsible student. Three papers, a debate and a test in the next three weeks. Then it is exam season: four exams and the nursing lab scenario test, the most dreaded exam of them all! :scared1:

:scared1: yikes and yuck! How long till graduation?

Ooof... good luck on everything! :cheer2:

Thanks! I am sure I will get it all done and do well, I always manage to! I am "in competition" with my friend to see which of us gets on the Dean's List this year. At my school only one person per program/year gets the Dean's List and it is the person with the highest average/GPA. Last year she beat me by half a percent!  This year I am in the lead, let's see if I can maintain it!

What do you already have a degree in?
Wow one of the highest GPA's! Yur so smart. :rotfl:
Congrats, fantastic work.

Lessa I am finally caught up with your past two days at AK, Epcot & SWW. You have some really awesome character pics! I can't believe they let you into the park an hour early and the rides were all open. How cool! I was showing my DH how empty the park was - we got there around 8 am I think and it was so crowded! We wandered around a while but just could not bear the heat by mid day, so points to you guys for sticking it out. I feel so bad for the characters in the big costumes in that heat, I am not surprised that they moved Chewbaca to a shaded section, poor guy must have needed lots of breaks and swaps. Probably being all adults you could manage the heat and the waits a little better but still, it was HOT !

HOW COOL FOR ERICH!!!! OMG! that is just awesome! I hope they give him a character job, he would be so great in some of the roles. I could totally see him doing Flynn Rider! when will his internship start? maybe he'll be working in June when we are there.

Your mom looks like she is having a lot of fun in the MK without you. How nice that she got to see Flynn, lucky!

Good luck on all of your classes - I hope you win the contest this year!:wizard:

My first degree is in English Literature and Classical Studies. I loved the subjects but it is a worthless degree when it comes to the job market.

We were so lucky to get in early, we got so much done because of it.

I think he starts at the end of June.

 Thanks! We will see. My friend and I get nearly identical marks, it is like we share a brain. We even get the exact same questions wrong on tests!

May 23rd

Remember how I was starting to not feel so hot the night before? Well I woke up in the middle of the night and I was SICK! Stuffy nose, sore throat, yuck! What does one do when they are sick and on vacation? They go hang out at a water park of course!

This was another one of our "off" days. There were two days during the trip where we could not go into one of the main theme parks and this was one of them. Instead we were planning on using our water park passes again and going back to Typhoon Lagoon. Probably not such a good idea when you are sick, just saying.

We arrived at Typhoon Lagoon before opening and had to wait in line with the other park guests. In line in front of us was an obese man in a pair of teeny tiny Speedos. It was not a pretty sight. You are probably thinking I should not judge and in some ways you are right, however, I do believe you should dress for your body type. You don't see me prancing around in a bikini do you? That would be horrifying and I would never inflict that on the unsuspecting public! The teeny tiny Speedo's are not something that is appealing even on somebody with a good body let alone somebody who definitely does not have the body for it. Luckily we did not have the visual for long as the park opened and we all made our way in.

We didn't stay at the water park too long that day. I hung out in the wave pool for a bit and then I just lay out in the sun on one of the loungers as I was feeling sick to my stomach in the pool. The boys went off and swam through Shark Reef snorkel lagoon again and once they got back we left.

I was disappointed I did not get to enjoy the park more as I love Typhoon Lagoon but I just was not up to it.

We went back to the hotel to get changed. Erich ended up slamming an arm rest on Alek's head by accident and he got a nice bump on the forehead. Erich had dropped his park ticket between the seats and it was during the attempt to retrieve it that the injury happened.

After we got changed and Alek "recovered" we got back in the car and made our way to the post office near Crossroads. I was shipping the presents I bought for our cousin Caroline while at Universal. I wanted to wait a few days to mail the package off so that her Hogwarts letter would arrive first. The post office was really easy to find, it was on the same street as the Olive Garden that is near the Crossroads Shopping Centre.

Unbeknownst to me, there was this wasp/hornet(?) in the car on my window. The boys took a picture of it because it looked green. The Green Hornet! Corny, I know. Good thing I didn't see it as I would have freaked out. I am terrified of all forms of "bees".

Next we were off to Olive Garden for lunch since our attempt at eating dinner there the night before was unsuccessful. We got a nice 25% discount due to Alek and Erich both working at Red Lobster. :thumbsup2

Bellies full it was time to go shop at Downtown Disney. Erich was highly resistant to this and made us swear that we would not spend longer than an hour.

We were nearing the end of our trip and so I knew it was time to make a decision about whether or not I was going to get a Dooney purse. Well, of course I did! I went to Tren-D and they gave me a couple bags to look at so that I could get the one with the pattern that I liked best. I finally made my decision and made my purchase, I was now the owner of a Disney Dooney! Another purse to add to my collection! Unfortunately, I happened to see these after I made my purchase.

Super cute, I wanted one really badly but alas, one Disney Dooney was all my budget would allow. You have probably seen those purses all over the place but back in May they were brand new and this was my first time seeing them, I think they must have been released while we were down there.

I told the others I would meet them at Goofy's Candy Company, I wanted to go to the Christmas store to buy an ornament.

I got my pretty ornament and then made my way over to the store of temptation.

I ended up getting some pretzel rods dipped in milk chocolate and peanut butter chips. I preferred when they offered crushed peanut butter cups, tasted better. Then again maybe it was just my taste buds being out of whack due to the illness.

Here are the purchases from the day.

I love my Dooney, I get so many comments on it everywhere I go. At the mall, the grocery store, the pizza shop, on the bus, the school bookstore, you name the place and I have been stopped and asked about it.

Mom also got a Dooney although she never uses it. :confused3

So sorry to hear you got sick right at the end of vacation! It would be so hard to be at Typhoon Lagoon, thinking of all the fun you could have been having, if you felt better.

I have the same Dooney bag and I love mine! It's the best bag ever.

Yeah, it majorly sucks getting sick on vacation. I think my body has decided that I just should not take two week vacations. When Mom and I went on our two week land/sea trip I got sick during the last part of the trip as well. :sad2:

Sorry you couldn't enjoy Typhoon Lagoon! It's just the worst being sick on vacation. :sad2:

The Dooneys with the bows on them are SO cute, but I like the one you got better! It's more representative of actual Disney World, whereas the other one just looks like a Minnie Mouse bag, ya know? I think you got a good one!

Sorry you got sick on vacation! That always stinks! Even when it is a nice long trip like this one!

Love the Dooney!! That's a good size!
I had a hard time resisting all the bags when we were there in Oct. Then once I found the 40th Anniversary print, I caved. I mean, we were there for the 40th Anniversary itself, so I really had no choice! My Mom bought the same one your Mom did, though she uses hers all the time! I bought the same print, but in the bigger size up. I think it was called the small messenger.

I hate not feeling well on vacation but your at Disney. I have the same Dooney bag and I always get compliments on it, I also bought the black one because you can't use white after Labor day :goodvibes.
