They were both relatively quiet but the Studios were absolutely dead.

I've not been to Rafiki's Planet in quite some time, but I know when we are there in two weeks that I'll be there as the kids love that area, especially Avery who wants to work in animal medicine.

I think you look fine in the photo with Pochahontas (she looks kind of scary).

May 20th continued

Brief rewind...

I found some photopass photos that I forgot about in an earlier update!

Near the safari exit we saw a photopass photographer set up near this waterfall. I had never seen a photographer there before so, of course, I had to get a picture. Nobody else wanted to stop so I forced Alek to get the picture with me. You can tell how impressed he was with this.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

All finished at Rafiki's Planet Watch we took the train back to Harambe.

We were all starting to get pretty hungry so we decided to make our way back to Discovery Island to find something to eat.

We did take the time to walk down the "hidden" path that runs behind the Tree of Life along the water. Not many people notice it is there and it is a nice walk. There are some birds to look at along the path and it gets you nice and close to the Tree of Life so you can get a good look at the carvings.

We eventually made our way over to Flam Tree Barbeque where we looked over the menu. Nobody found anything really appealing so we decided to just head over to Restaurantosaurus.

It was pretty busy when we arrived. We had broken with our usual pattern and we were eating lunch at the prime lunch hour, noon. Usually we make sure to get lunch around 11 to avoid the crowds. Oh well, we survived and we still ended up with a table so it all worked out.

Mom got the Shrimp Po Boy

I got chicken nuggets

The boys got burgers.

The boys also donated money to the Disney Conservation Fund and got pins as a thank you. They displayed them proudly.

Bellies full it was time for more fun!

There were no complaints, it was typical Disney counter service. We would eat there again.
