Arrived home from 7 Day Eastern Magic yesterday. What a wonderful time! Feeling down in the dumps though, woke up this morning and was not on the Magic...BUMMER. Went out to dinner last night and imagine...had to pay for it. Gonna take some adjusting to get back to the real world.
Booked on board for next year. What a deal, category 9 for $899, alternate Eastern itinerary (stops at Antigua), plus $400 on board credit. Sailing date October 2, 2004.
I thought this was interesting. Departure for sailing was delayed from Port Canaveral by about 1 hour last week. Captain Tom decided to hold the ship and wait for approximately two bus loads of passengers that had delayed flights getting into Orlando. How wonderful that the ship was able to wait for those passengers. I could just imagine how upset they were afraid of missing the ship.
Another interesting thing. storms prevented the Sail-Away party from being held on deck 9, party was held in the Atrium instead. Hope to never have that luck again...EXTREMELY crowded and not able to see very well. But you can't control Mother Nature, and DCL did the best it could with an alternate location.
All in all, loved the fifth cruise as much if not more than the first and can't wait to sail again. Let the count down begin. I'll be happy to answer any question you may have out there.
