Feeling better about AirTran seating fee

I was hesitant about booking AirTran when I saw that they charge a booking fee, as it looked like it was going to be $6 (or more) per person, per leg. I found out that although it looks like that when you are picking seats, it is actually $6 per person for the entire itinerary. This was on a one-way fare with three legs (yes, we live in the williwacks); not sure if they charge an additional $6 for the return flight (I suspect so...). anyhow, I am feeling a little better about AirTran now.:flower3:

Yes the return flight will have the fee.

The AirTran fee does apply for the entire itinerary each way. If you have a round trip booked, you will pay the fee twice, once for each way.

If you sign up for the Air Tran vouchers through little Debbie, you can get ten dollars off per person. You just need to sign each of those people up for the coupon separately. You can use them to pay for seat assignments. I just did it today and only had to pay 4 dollars instead of 24 for two people, both ways.
