Plantlady, are you using Boca crumbles or similar as your fake meat? We used to love, love, love using those products----I would even buy bags of dry tvp at the natural foods co-op! Can't anymore since dd12 now has a soy allergyThe Morningstar burgers used to be our big weekend splurge. Oh well!
Yep, we're using Boca crumbles.. we just call it "fake meat" around here. I wasn't thinking.. that perhaps everyone doesn't call it that.
I've read that there are not good things in it, chemicals, preservatives, ect... so we try not to eat it too often.
Have you tried just tofu and a vegetable mix?
My son makes a Vegan taco out of tofu carrots and mushrooms.
