February or April?

In the past we've always traveled to WDW in the Fall. Now that our oldest daughter is going to be in Junior High we don't think that taking her out of school for a week or two will work any more

What are the pros and cons between Presidents week in February and Spring Break in April? Not everyone is on Spring Break at the same time so would it be as crowded? Spring Break is typically the second or third week in April for us here in Washington State. Any input is greatly appreciated!

I am interested in how busy President's Week is as well. Ten of us are going February 15th and departing February 21st, which is President's Day.....

April = less rainfall overall statistically! - A beautiful month to go!!!!

We're going in Feb. for a few reasons, one is that it's cheaper. Peak Season starts Feb. 17th, so if you check in before then, you'll get the Value Season rates!! Another is that it's pre-spring breaks. I'm sure the weather will be better (generally speaking) in April than Feb. though, so if that's important to you, go then. We prefer the "cooler" temps...

It looks like both times will be pretty busy, so I'd use the other factors (weather, cost) to choose your time frame.

We always go in April fro Spring Break. You can't beat the weather, it's always beautiful. The only downfall is that it's usually very very crowded. If you want to deal with the crowds it's a wonderful time to go. This year may be a little different because Easter is in March, so hopefully April will be a tad bit slower

I've been both. 2002- I went April (2nd week) in 2003 I went in Feb (Pres. Day Week). I would personally pick February. In April we had twice the waits as we did in February. It was really crowded. We waited almost 30 minutes one morning to reach the monorail platform to go to the MK.

However, they are both going to be busy. You may also not be swimming or going to water parks in Feb, as it can be warm or cold. As I've seen both at that time.
