Good evening all,

I have shoveled for 2 hours today. The first hour was before going to work, had to get the "slushy/slurpy" from the end of the driveway gone before even thinking about getting out to the drive to go to work. This snow was the heaviest, just like trying to shovel a large snocone if you will. Managed to get to work, only 3 minutes tardy!. My husband picked me up from work and then I came home, changed clothes and shoveled some more, again heavy stuff. This is the first time this year that I have done only the side of the driveway that matters, no sense shoveling this real heavy stuff for the other half, right? It is still snowing quite heavily this evening, seems the wind is out of the northeast and the snow is coming in off the lake. Tomorrow morning may be a repeat of this morning, shoveling before getting to work. Who knows I may need to set the alarm for 4 am instead of 5. :scared1:

After dinner I did some weight work.

February looks like this:

345/1000.

Updating... 305/1000 for the month and 1570/12000 for the year.

:cool1:

After walking to the bank yesterday afternoon ( after posting) and do the regular 45 minutes this morning brings my new total to

300/750

I don't mean to toot my own horn but I am really surprised how much this thread has helped me stay motivated. To see my goal " written down" and see my progress towards it is so encouraging.

Another 127 minutes this week, so now I'm 216/725. Yay, I'm over 25% of the way there!

I guess it's time for my update. I'm catching up, I'm still a little under par since I got a late start. Done biking and resistance training this week:

240/1200 ------ 1650/15500

hi,

Exericse today was another morning and afternoon of snow shoveling.

I got up to shovel for 45 minutes at 4:15 am. We got a good 6" of lake effect snow out of the storm, which has sense moved on.

I got home from work after being picked up by DH, stating "we still have not been plowed on our street, do you believe it?" We headed home to our neighborhood and turned down our street -- yes the plow had been by and fortunately with DH's good driving, we got through the end of the driveway and we able to get into the garage. (the driveway was pristine after my morning shoveling). My next task was to shovel for 1 hour in order to get a one shovel width for our sidewalk at the back of the house. This was some heavy snow and it had not been shoveled since the storm had started. The bottom layer of this was the heavy slurpee/slushy stuff.

February looks like this:

450/1000

Amanda in buffalo??? how much snow did you get?

The forecast is calling for a couple of inches friday night into saturday and the high temperature on Sunday is 18 degrees! Brr, Brr!!!

Take care everyone and let's all keep moving. :yay:
