Thanks for doing this, Vern!Updated!!!
Welcome to those who are new, welcome back to my old friends![]()
This dog walking thing is working out really well for me. Comes out to about 30-40 minutes of extra exercise each day, with a walk in the am and pm. Now if only I could get the dog to stop whining when I go downstairs to the treadmill, I'd have something.
Even though this is a short month, I am really enjoying exercising, so I think I will crank it up a little. My goal for this month is 1200 minutes. I've done 100 so far this month and I did 1151 in January, so I'm at 100/1200 for the month and 1251/12000 for the year.
Thanks for doing this, Vern!
You need a treadmill for the dog, like on the Jetsons!![]()
My cats don't encourage me to exercise at all. In fact, when I start my aerobics, they usually run off to another room. Maybe they don't like my taste in music!![]()

Oh, wow, that would be awesome! I got my treadmill used -- they are often available cheaply via Craigslist or newspaper ads. I don't have any ideas for the other problems, though!Actually Judy, we are considering a treadmill for the dog. He is a working/herding breed and needs lots of exercise, but the winters here can be tough so it would be easy for him to do the treadmill while I am. A few problems though. 1) buying another treadmill can be costly 2)the doge will not go down the stairs to the basement (afraid) 3) the basement is the cats "safe haven" dog free zone. But it is a thought.
