February 9, 2013 - Magic out of Galveston??

I have friends who are cruising today on the Wonder on the maiden voyage out of Maimi for Christmas!! pixiedust: I am so excited for them and a little jealous! :cool1:

Looking at all her pictures and texts is REALLY making me get even more exicted for ours!!

YAY!!!:cheer2:

Merry Christmas Eve eve everyone!!

Merry Christmas to everyone - I hope everyone has a great holiday - but honestly I am sooooooo waiting for our next holiday and cruise time so it has been hard to concentrate on Christmas!:santa:

Ok I think that does it for the FE Group as today is our last day to join. I have updated the first post and I think everyone that is participating in the FE group is on there - everyone check their info and make sure I have everything correct - if not let me know. :thumbsup2

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had snow here! It was so beautiful while it lasted.

did anyone get the email today stating that there is no formal night on this cruise? makes packing a little easier, but just want to make sure so there aren't any surprises when we get there. getting so close, can't wait!:woohoo:

....aaannnnd I just checked the location of this room. Looks like we'll be about as forward on the boat as one can get with out being the captain. Does anyone have any advice or things to know on this cabin's location, ie; more / less noisy, more motion than a place more mid-ship, window view better / worse, etc? 3 more days to unload this secret so I can start looking as excited as I really am!

Two questions (sorry, newbie), one what is FE? And how do you check your location on the ship? Thanks!

Are you on this cruise??? Fe is fish a extender. There is a fish slot outside your cabin where you hang something and if you join a group doing this on your cruise, then you put little gifts that you buy or make in the fe. There are threads totally on the subject.

No worries. I'm a noob also. Lol. FE is 'fish extender'. I had to do a google search when I started hearing about them. It'd be more informative than I can be here.
On the Disney cruise website you can look at a graph of the ship and search for cabin numbers on the top left of the graph.

We DO have a formal and semi formal night!!!! The email we received was a marketing mistake. They said pay attention to info you receive about cruise in the next week or so!! Formal --2nd night and a Pirate night and a semi formal!! Don't unpack your DH's suits just yet and your evening gowns!:thumbsup2

This makes me feel better. I just bought my gown for formal night.

Question for those of you with girls. I'm making a craft for FE for the little girls that are bringing their American girl dolls and I need to know how many. Can I get a count of those that own an AG (or any 18 inch) doll?

Nelia has 3--Nellie, Chrissa, McKenna...well and 3 bitty's....ON that note I believe she is bringing McKenna since she is her newest from Christmas and hasn't been on a Disney Cruise yet.

Sydney has some but will not be bringing hers.

Can't wait to see what crafty thing u are embarking on!!!!:goodvibes

Excited about our first Disney Cruise. We are joining other friends from Louisiana. We have 3 kids (9,5,4). Thinking we will keep it as a surprise until the day of, but our friends revealed over Christmas. Looking for thoughts on keeping it a secret vs letting the mouse out of the bag.

How many cabins are on the FE group? I was expecting many, but the list looks slim.

There are about 11 of us. Smaller then I am used to but still fun!

I personally would love to keep it a secret till driving up to the ship. U live right there , I would wait!!! I have a 9 yr old as well. Our ability to join the FE closed on Christmas but I would be willing to take someone else on....hot to see what everyone else thinks...not thinking it is a big deal.

My plan is to tell them we are spending the weekend in Galveston and seeing our friends off on the Disney cruise. That is if they even ask about the luggage.

I have only seen my dh in a suit once for a job interview, even our wedding he wore a Hawaiian shirt (hawaiian theme wedding so it was ok), so I'll be happy to get him in something long sleeve with slacks for the formal/semi-formal nights.:goodvibes I also don't own any gowns other than my wedding gown, and after 3 kids (including a set of twins), not too sure I could squeeze into it anymore. So, we'll be pretty casual, which is who we are, so it's all good. Honestly, since it is Disney, I wasn't expecting anything too formal, but it will be fun to see others dressed to the nines. I won't point and gawk at you if you don't at us.. :thumbsup2

Ok I am a little nervous - I didn't get an email and I used to get emails. I wonder if I should call Disney and check on my reservation??
