I got my cruise planning docs today.
I am so very excited!!! I can't wait!

Ours arrived today! I wish there was info about excursions in it. I know I can read it online but I'm really more of a look at it on paper kind of person so I can cross some things off and highlight others.

Thought I had better check in before I lose my spot in the Bushwacker's Club LOL!!!!!

Well it feels like winter has decided to set in here in Western Nebraska B-rrrrrrr!!!!! It is about 40 here today and our furnace is still thinking that is summer and it doesn't have to start work yet!!!!
So not only is it chilly outside, it is a bit CHILLY inside!!!!

Our planning docs made it yesterday....haven't really taken the time to look at it yet, but will.
Has anyone figured out shore excursions yet??? I need to get in gear as I still haven't booked our room for Friday night yet...as well as the rental car!

So Tinker...you are staying at the Raddison???? That is where we will be as well (if I get my rear gear and get my reservations made) and yes Johnna is right (like always ) the girls love the pool and Ron and I love the pool bar...once we check in, it is like...Let the Fun begin!!!!

I am up right now at 4:26 A.M. PSD waiting for 5:00 A.M. (34 Min from now) to book my Transatlantic westbound

Our documents arrive yesterday. SO I guess they did not kick the TINK FAMILY OFF THE SHIP. Now I just have to figure out this airline.... Al, have any sugesstions how to stow away 4 people. I think I need to check out cheap tickets as well. I will keep you posted..... Hey BJ got the KTWC ready, I will need a few drinks as soon as the horn blast....

I think that the we need to plan our shore excursions together...or at least coordinate our outfits. Like an Indian, a policeman, or maybe even a construction worker.

Doing my own thing in St. Croix, and most likely not getting off the ship in St. Thomas. On other news I got my Transatlantic sailing after having the server kick me out twice. What a great price. Got a cat 11 for almost 800 less than would have for one of us to do a Baltic cruise.

we booked the Baltic for now, and I like the ports better on that so I am happy if the transatlantic isn't sold out and have rooms in febuary when we go on the cruise we will switch it that that

Do any of you dress up for Pirate Night? I found myself in the costume isle at Target yesterday and really wanted to get a couple costumes. I decided to wait until they go on clearance and see if I can pick some up then. Anyone else?

I'm also searching for gold Christmas dresses for my girls to wear to the Golden Mickey's. Not having a lot of luck with this yet.

Our girls 15 and 12 did wear costumes, but Ron and myself did not (and will not again this year, one less thing to pack LOL)...

I just tried to make a signature, can anyone see it, I can't. Made it while at work didn't see it then and thought maybe it was some cookie thing but its not showing up now that I'm home either.

Hi Gang,
Well we have not received our docs yet, but perhaps there is a mailing delay up here to Canada. I do hope they come soon I want to see on paper that we too are not kicked off the ship!!
I can do a little happy dance though on our airfare. We are booked Westjet for our outbound for the direct flights from Calgary on Thursday and they went on sale the other day! SO... I now have a credit file of $550.00!! I don't think United/AC will let us downgrade our file and get a credit, but Westjet is awesome!!
It will be great when they hook up with Southwest later in 2009, we are interested to see what that will do to some US destination prices for us!

On the down side of all the happy cruise planning our Canadian dollar has tanked again... we are at 85 cents on the dollar again. Why oh why did I not pay it off when it was at par???

And as of last night we have another Federal Minority government up north here too...Same old story, makes you wonder why they spent millions of tax payer dollars when we came up with basically the same result and the governing party became a little weaker in the eastern regions. Oh well.
