I'll let you all know about my trip. It was the best. I hung out with all the college aged people from like 18-22 on my cruise and we would hang till like 3:00 or so in the morning. Went to Palo for brunch which was amazing. I met David, DJ Mike and Luke on the cruise and we hung out with them in Rockin' Bar D like every night, I think David was my favorite he was just so nice and amazing to talk too. I'll post pictures and videos later and I am writing a trip report so if you want you can read about my trip. And I met a bunch of wonderfuly dis people

I was reading some of your earlier posts and I think I remember you saying that you went to Disneyland before you hopped on your cruise. Did you do the Mexican Riviera cruise? And on what day?
The reason I'm asking is cause I went deep sea fishing with my hubby not too long ago and I actually got to see the Magic take off from the San Pedro port! So I was just wondering if you were on that ship!

yeah, i went to Disneyland July 11th and then went and got on the Disney Magic July 13th-July 20th

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Today my mom bookedcon the cruise, she likes Rockin Bar D so she will be thete making sure I don't party to hard. Of course she did not do a great gob on the Repo in May. She also hates the Yankkes almost as much as I do.

well I better not wear my Yankee shirt on the cruise to Rockin' Bar D. The cruise I just went on I was wearing my Yankees shirt and this lady as I am walking to my cabin is like New York, no and then says that she is a Red Sox fan. Then everytime I saw her we would joke about the yankees and red sox, all in good fun. I don't even like baseball I just loves seeing yankee fans and red sox fans get crazy

We are Canadian, so sorry to all of you who are talking sports, I have no clue who the sports teams are that you all are talking about.
I do watch Canadian Football, and no longer live in Saskatchewan, but I do still cheer for my home team the Sask Roughriders of the Canadian football league!
Just a question to any other Canadians on this sailing.. where are you all from and is this your first cruise with Disney? This will be our first with a kiddo and on Disney, we have been on 2 other cruises sans kids with Princess both the Eastern and Western.
We are from the Calgary area, and our dd will be 4.5 at the time of sailing.
We are glad to get to know everyone, but it would be nice to meet some others from "north of the border"!!

Sorry - I was just channelling my 5 year old.

We're off tomorrow for another three days with friends at a lake in Western Maryland. They have a lake house, and invite a whole bunch of us up there for fun, bocce, swimming, and drinking of course!

Is that what the ship feels like?? I've never been on a cruise before so I have no idea.
But I HAVE felt more than enough earthquakes.
I heard the earthquake was centered out of Chino Hills and I work in Ontario so it wasn't that far away. My building felt like someone picked it up and shook it! I didn't know whether to get under my desk or run so I kinda just stood there looking dumb.
But we've had worse earthquakes than that here in sunny southern Cali!

Hi and I did not catch your name, sorry. I just want to say, do not worry, I am from the states and have no clue when it comes to sports. This is one reason I do not chime in much anymore. So know you are not alone. I am not from Canada but is Minnesota close enough.... Your little is very close to Johnna's little girl, they can get to be buds. I think you will be so impressed with DCL and the kids over Princess. I guess you Canadians are getting such an awesome exchange rate right now because our US dollar sucks right now. I look fwd to getting to know you.

That is a small world. I hear you about the strong drink, I hope to have a few a night. I don't know if we can drink together as my two friends are big Red Sox fans and the only team I hate more than the Yankkees is the Giants. Well it will be basketball season so I guess we can drink a few together.

Marla - thanks for the pictures! It feels like FOREVER since we've been on the magic, and I'm so jealous of you having just been there. Sounds like you had a great time.

I hope Christian is still the Cruise Director when we're there - I liked him a lot. I also liked the girl before him - Rachel - but Christian seems a little more connected to the cruisers - he seems to be everywhere where I don't recall seeing Rachel as much.

Tink - incredibly suprising that I didn't take any pictures this weekend - my camera never even left the car. But my friends took plenty and they promised to share, so I'll post some when I get them. We had a lot of fun, but didn't sleep well due to an incredibly magnificient thunderstorm last night - unfortunately, we didn't appreciate it all that much this morning when we had to wake up.

Vanessa - I did get your email but haven't had a chance to update the cruise spreadsheet for you. I promise to do it next week before I leave for the final vacation of the summer in Cape Cod. It's been a busy summer but well worth all the packing and unpacking, and laundry, and packing, and unpacking and laundry, and ... well, you get the idea.

I did have a great cruise.

I hope Christiaan is CD on the Magic on this cruise too, he is awesome to talk to and funny and he has some great dance moves . Along with him I hope DJ Mike and Luke are on the cruise and also hope David or Pikey are too

Johnna- I see you have cruise in Feb/march before, what is the weather like that time of year at sea? I only have cruise in April and June-September so I was just wondering
