Well I hope the launch goes on the 28th at around, oh 4:30ish. 2 weeks from right now I will be going back to my cabin for a nap, unless the launch is around 3:00.

The launch is currently Feb. 27 at 1:32am. If it were the 28th it would be 1:06am. 23-25 minutes earlier per day.

Hello all sailing friends. Laura here. Set to go with DH and DS(5) (if I understand the acronyms???) Third cruise for our little family. Loved the first two but they were not totally great for our DS (too young first and under the weather second) . Practice (by cruising again and again) until we get it just right. Others out there with like aged kids, let me know.

Great news about the shuttle!! At 1:32 AM on the 27th we will be at Wilderness Lodge, so we will get the kids up to see it I'm sure.

Curdasa, welcome to our little group of cruisers... we put the FUN in dysfunctional. There are a number of us with younger kids, my daughter is 7 so will be in the kids' club with your DS.

Donna, great news about your MIL. Breathing problems can be scary in the elderly. My mother has been having sporadic breathing problems for a couple of years now, but she is still doing well -- today is her 79th birthday!! In fact, the original plan was to also bring her and Dad on this cruise as well, but she was afraid to be too far from her doctor, and Dad would never come without her, so we bought them a big screen TV instead and Dad said they'd still be getting use out of that long after the cruise was over

Choco, I agree... I don't want to know what Dave thinks is a good ice breaker either...

One week from tonight, we will be staying at the WL and visiting WDW for the first time!!!

So kids... we got a fresh batch of Winter today... snowed like mad all day, then turned to slushy icky rain for the drive home! THURSDAY SHOULD HURRY!

I swear I am gonna go insane next week come Monday and I realize we have less than 7 days left.

Hola Party People!

Hope you all are doing good and had a lovely weekend! And welcome to the new peeps joining this great group!
It’s raining like crazy over here in sunny So Cal! It so gloomy. Can’t wait to get to the Caribbean!

Our cruise is right around the corner! YAY!
I’m excited to hear about the shuttle taking off and getting to see it. That’s awesome! I’ve always watched them on TV and never thought I’d actually get to see it for real.

I finally got my formal night dress this weekend so I’m happy I finally did that.


OH! and I had the worst dream EVER! I finally had the “missed the boat” dream!
It was so weird. My family and I showed up at like 3:30 to the terminal with empty suitcases cause our closet and dressers were IN the terminal. Don't know what that was about.
When I walked into the my closet, there were other suit cases piled up to the ceiling so I had to scoot around them to get to my clothes. We were so late we just started grabbing shirts and pants and whatever else we could get to that the pile of suitcases wasn’t blocking!
So we finally finish and run to the gangway to get on the ship and we’re about to cross and I was like “WHERE’S OUR PAPERWORK??”
I look at my hubby and he has a huge question mark on his face.
I was like “Crap! it’s in the car!” which is weird cause I got to the terminal on the bus. But for some reason my car was in the parking lot. So I grab my keys and I hear the “when you wish upon a star” horn blow and I start running as fast as I can to my car but my legs WON’T MOVE! It felt like I was running through water! So I’m trying to set off the alarm in my car so I know exactly where it’s at and I’m still pushing trying to get my legs to move faster but they won’t! At this point I’m at the verge of tears cause the boat is moving and I still haven’t made it to my car. I look back and my husband is waving his arms over his head and my daughter is jumping up and down and their both yelling for me to hurry. So I turn around and run as hard as I possibly can but with no success.

Then I wake up cause my hubby got home from work at 4:30 in the morning and I was happy he woke me up cause I was about to start crying hysterically.

I didn't like that dream at all.
I'd rather dream about seafood soup!

Chocokat- I'm sooo excited too!
I just need to find some shoes now. I don't have any flat shoes. I have a bunch a heels and I put a pair on yesterday and felt like I was gonna tip over. So, that's a no go.
Probably gonna pick up some shoes this weekend and start to pack! YIPPEE!!!

Oh crap. I forgot get laminating sheets and magnets!! I better go today. I don't think I'll have time next week!

that's cool he was able to talk to Kobe. Lakers are one of my top 5 teams I root for so I love Kobe.

I'm almost packed, just my carry on bag need to be pack but that is stuff I need till friday morning so can't pack that. I am so ready to leave friday though

Does anyone know about the photopass (new photo plan onboard) Is it like what they do in the parks? Is it any easier than stockpiling photos? And to whoever it was that spent $1000.00 , there is no way we will do that. Well, if I had a family of ten kids (which I definitely do not), then maybe?

Me, DH and DS (5) are truely excited. We want to go next weekend, but whoa is us, we have to wait ten days....

I am shy as can get and probably DH and I will be soooo pumped that we'll be running around the ship from the moment we get there until we collapse... or I collapse, that man doesn't sleep during vacations, and no, I am not kidding, he is weeeeeird . So we more than likely won't make it to the meet, I just know us way too well

But you can stalk our side of the ship, we'll be like ninja pandas, come out of the room real fast, then disappear I should make a door magnet with a ninja panda on it
