February 25th Magic Cruise Board

Any one know what side of the ship i want to be on to see CC out our window , we are thinking of going ahead and changing our room to a port hole..... although maybe i should wait a bit since we are GTY we could get a free upgrade and just wait and see closer to time to leave if i want to pay for an upgrade if we dont get one???

UGGHHH i dunno what to

Our last cabin (7522) was on the STARBOARD side, and we could see CC from the verandah.

I say don't stress out about it...no worries, mon. Wait for a free upgrade so you can spend the extra money on your wedding. I heard those online ministers charge an arm and a leg. :rotfl: Or you just can pay me in DoTD's.

I think we are going to skip going for the upgrade for two reasons: 1) with the new boarding times and port entry rules, we aren't all that interested in having to start our vacation by rushing the gate, and 2) with the new specials at WDW, I think we'd rather spend the money on a pre-cruise stay in Orlando. Now that we can't even get into the terminal until 11, I don't really see the point in staying in Cocoa before we leave. What do you think?

Oh, I will TOTALLY do this! Where do I sign up?
"I now pronounce you man and wife. Let's party." :wizard:

I thought about you or Tim doing it BUT do you think we could get through the whole thing in a serious manner...

We could do like a communion Shot of tequllia!!!!:rotfl2:

Or my new favorite shot a Jaggerbomb!!!!

Yes! I absolutely CAN do it in a serious manner. I mean, this is your WEDDING! It's not like we're starting your marriage by breaking any rules or anything. :rotfl: This is going to be the awesomest wedding EVER! Besides, I don't drink tequila OR jägermeister, so you have nothing to worry about. It will be reverent and fabulous. Sign me up!

What?

Anyone else posting? We certainly don't want to hijack the thread. I don't know about everyone else, but my family is super excited about the upcoming cruise! This is about the time when my planning kicks into high gear.

So we're waiting on our OP to give dizzi the go-ahead for a name for our cruise meet. :thumbsup2

We know Beth is stoked to be on Deck 7 because there may or may not be other Dissers packing a treasure trove of liquor. :rolleyes1

What dining rotation did everyone get? We love Lumiere's the best, so we got LAPLAPL.

Is anyone staying onboard at any of the ports? We skipped Grand Cayman last time because we weren't in the mood to do the tender, and having the ship to ourselves for most of the day was fantastic! This time I think I'll book some spa time...

Who plays cards?

Ok, I guess that's it for now. Just hoping to kickstart the conversation. Which reminds me...my original post didn't go through, which means I never really introduced myself. I am Alexis and I am traveling with my sweet hubby and our five year-old daughter. We are from coastal North Carolina. This will be our second (and probably last) Disney cruise. We are not cruisers by nature, but our travel agent, who books all our WDW travel, convinced us that we would love it and he was right. We probably would not enjoy the bigger ships, though, which is why we decided to to one more cruise before they take over the Caribbean.

We are so looking forward to February, and we hope we'll have the chance to meet some fun new peeps onboard! :grouphug:

My previous FE was random delivery as well. I too enjoyed the anticipation and surprise. We delivered our gifts on an evening after first rotation dinner. We chose to skip the show that night. We actually ran into another FE family during our delivery and ended up joining them for the walk around the ship. It was a lot of fun. The woman that complied the FE list for our group printed out a ship map for each level and labeled the rooms that were participating. Made for quick and easy delivery. I'd be willing to help as well! Thank you for all your work thus far emmysdidi!

I think that is a great idea! I will make that happen! Thanks for the tip!

Hi all and welcome

:welcome:
dizzy and threewilmingtonwalls

We just came back from our Disney Trip so I am sorry I have been MIA!!! I was at a conference in Orlando at the Swan and Dolphin and I was able to take the crew (DW/DD/DG (Disney Granny))

Now its time to cruise, people!!! :cool1:

So, let's start with the FE! Please send me your ages, rooms numbers and any other infor for the FE. I will update the list accordingly and re-distribute!

As far as naming the Cruise, let's start with a theme! Pirates? Villians? Retro-Disney? What do you all think? Please don't wait for me to come up with some names! Throw some stuff out there! :grouphug:

I will be more active now! We only have three months! :dance3:

OK, let's do this!

okay lets see if we can come up with something for the name of our cruise.

1. Mickeys Aboard Going Island Cruising::MickeyMo

2. :boat:Sailing to the Saints:littleangel:

3.:lovestruc JUST MARRIED:bride:
(cant blame a girl for trying)

4.pirate:....ARRGGG....All Aboard for a Saintly Cruise....pirate:

emmysdidi,

nice to have you back.

i put a couple names out there maybe outhers can come up with something too.

Hope you had a great time on your work vaca those are alays nice.

We upgraded this morning to a port hole.
Glad that we have aport hole....
dont perfer to be on deck 2 but i did want a view.

This way if we dont get in early enough for an upgrade i dont have to worry about it.

I will also continue to watch for Specials and deceases in price.

So we will be getting Married either the 24th or the 25th.

We have found a way that we dont have to wait the 3 day waiting period NO MATTER where we decide to get married so this is a BONUS for us!!!

We just have to find an officiant that will do it where and when we want to do it.

Although we have not 100% decided what that is yet.:confused3

Hope you guys dont mind i am posting all my thoughts seperatly .....hopeing to get to over 6000 post before this cruise!!

I think i can make it!!!

I have to post all my replies separately. :sad2: Not because I am trying to up my post count, but because I am iPad challenged. I just tried to do a multiple-quote reply, but when the box comes up to type my response, I don't know how to scroll down to the bottom of the quoted text. I have no mouse, and when I touch the screen to position my cursor, it just tries to enter my text in the middle of the quote. :confused3

Anyway...here goes...

I love this! So cute and original. Maybe once we decide on the name, we could get one of the DISigners to make us a cute graphic that we could use for door magnets? It would be fun to have them on our doors, and it would help FE people easily identify cabins.
