Around here it's referred to as "ypsi" (rhymes with tipsy). Full name -"IP-SA-LAN-TE"

Very strange name, therefore I generally tell people I from the Ann Arbor area. Almost everyone understands where the "Big House" is.
Ok, I can understand Tipsy.. opps i mean rhyme... Spelling wasn't my subject
We were out your way in 1998, visited a friend in Saginaw

I think it is a great opportunity for Fathers ::MickeyMo and DD's ::MinnieMo or DS's :earboy2: to go camping together.
Where did you go on your camping trip?
We just started camping after a 9 year (or so) hiatus and have found it to be a very nice family time - although the grass itches my feet too :thumbsup2 ... but I don't get much sympathy from all the men around here :rotfl2:

Ilene, you are sparkling

Thanks for noticing Jeff, you however seem to be changing right before my eyes

My oldest DS is still feeling under the weather :sad2: I sure hope he feels better tomorrow what with all the Valentines Day festivities :Pinkbounc

I didn't mean like that...it seems your computer was...well....changing

If it were only the ImMissingDad bug I'd know how to make that better....

By the way just for the record my husband and oldest daughter love camping (her first backcountry trip was at 3 1/2) My youngest could take it or leave it (the grass itches her feet you know) and I am most certainly not a camping girl. Although I enjoyed our trip last year it took my husband 12 years of coaxing to get me to go, and it will probably be about that long before I get talked into another. I'm fine with this as I feel that it's a great bonding opportunity for a Father and 2 DD's. (BACK ME UP LADIES!!!!) :teeth:

Jennifer

Oh Absolutely!!!!! Fathers and Daughters need their alone time :rolleyes1

Jennifer, I'll back you up on this one! :thumbsup2 I am not a camping girl, either. :sad2: I absolutely love nature and the outdoors, but I am in no hurry to live without my "bare necessities" - bed, running water, electricity - you know, all those cool technological advances that brought us out of caves? :lmao:

My dh enjoys camping and my dd12 asks every summer when we can go. I have no problem giving dh and dd12 some quality bonding time!! ;) Well, I might camp someday. I'll just pitch a tent in the woods in my backyard. :rotfl2: I'm happier spending my vacations at ::MickeyMo house! :)

So it looks like we are confirmed to be at Costa Maya at 10:00- ish and all out by 10:45... sail away by 6:00.... I still get the shakes thinking about cutting this excursion tight and being left at Costa maya.. I have to sleep on this one more night.... I would love to go with David and Ivan, but I may just be a wreck all day about missing the boat and not enjoy myself... now mind you no one else in our family is going to worry about any of this..... :firefight

I wish we were in CM till 10:00 pm I then would go for the Ivan tour.... I just don;t know.... wish it was easier... I think I may go with DCl and have peace of mind... I can always listen in on Ivan's tour when they go by

thanks everyone... see ya on the boat... hopefully warmer weather than what they are having now on hte MAgic... although anything will be better than the 16" of snow i have in my front yard!

Important Information

Thank you for your interest in the ports of call featured on our western Caribbean itinerary.

As you may be aware Hurricane Wilma passed directly over the island of Cozumel last year. During Cozumel's recovery we have been unable to call on this port. While we had planned to return to Cozumel in February, the lack of available tender operations makes it impossible at this time. Therefore, we have changed our itinerary for our western Caribbean sail dates as follows:

February 25, 2006 March 11, 2006 March 25, 2006

Saturday Port Canaveral, Florida
Sunday Key West, Florida
Monday Day at Sea
Tuesday Grand Cayman, The Cayman Islands
Wednesday Costa Maya, Mexico
Thursday Day at Sea
Friday Disney's Castaway Cay, Bahamas
Saturday Port Canaveral, Florida

It is our hope that additional itinerary changes will not be needed, as we continue to monitor the island of Cozumel's recovery.

LOL, no, what I mean is, there are NO lounge beach chairs. They are all regular cheap, outdoor, plastic chairs. Not a lot of lounging on the beach in those. That is what I meant. There are none. Just not how I envisioned our day at the beach--sitting at a table while the kids play in the sand. :teeth: I think we will get away from the crowds and go to Maya
Palms Resort.

May this special Day be filled with Love & Joy
and Happiness to last the whole year thru
