Never got any kind of invite. I saw people on the feb disers fb page posting they were able to customize magic bands early. I logged onto my disney experience and clicked on customize mb and it let me do it. Once I knew I was at 60 days, logged into mde and clicked fp+ selections and made my fp choices. Website sucks. I recommend using the app instead. It was a breeze on the app making fp choices. Hope this helped

I figured CM was out of loop bc I knew all the resorts were on board but wasn't sure if the FP+ would let me book at 60 day mark or if needed something via email invite. 70 days till check in!

Welcome to our group! February is rapidly approaching! Wow! I am unfamiliar with CRS do you mean CSR - Coronado Springs Resort? If so, that is a beautiful resort. We stayed there last time and loved it! We are just trying a new one this time. If CSR what section do you hope to get?

I've heard other people say they printed off a list of their FP+ reservations to take with them to the parks when they went and that they were glad they had because when there were band glitches the CM's could still honor their times. Now I see why, everytime I confirmed my reservations it gave me a server error and booted me on out. Pain in the rear but when I went back in, low and behold there were my FP+ reservations at the confirmed times. I think I'll fall in line and print all my reservations and take them with me too! Better safe than sorry! Not all glitches are as awesome as Vanellope

Good idea to print out the Fastpass+ selections. I agree!

I had the same thing happen when I tried to me when I selected times. Each and every day I tried, it would give me the Donald Duck screen that said the server was busy and try later. But then when I logged back in, my Fastpass+ selections were all there.

I also got my package with the flash drive in it this week. My DH, who lets me do all of the planning, plugged it right into his computer and had fun with it while I'm pleading "don't register your own account, let me keep control of both of them or I'll run into a problem coordinating our FP+ selections". He did load the MDE onto his phone so now I'm not the only one with the app.

Kathy Z, I just had to laugh at this one! I can just picture you, hanging over his shoulder watching his every move, pleading with him not to mess up your plans! I would be freaking out too!

Luckily for me, in some aspects, my DH has no desire to help plan the trip. I just make whatever plans I think are best and he goes along with them. In the past, we sometimes would change my original plans once we were there - especially the dining times. I would just call and cancel the reservations and we would go somewhere else.

I am really not sure how this trip is going to work out with all the extra things I have to work around and do for our trip.

AND now, what rides/attractions do you want to schedule ahead?

Then you have to decide if you want to check in on-line ahead of time or not!

On top of all this, I am having to plan this trip around what days my son's high school band will be in what parks. We are trying to be in the same park as my son most of the time. But then the band has a workshop we won't be attending and the band director has also arranged to have the band go to the beach for part of one day and eating off-site for dinner one day.

We will be staying at Disney during the times, the band is doing something else.

What is frustrating is that the band director picked the time to go which has the biggest crowds due to President's Day and then I don't think he looked at any crowd calendar for what days to go to the different parks. So, all that is out of my hands!

67 days and counting! My wife, 2 kids (son 8 and daughter 6) and I will be heading down to the world from Feb 21 - Mar 1. We are doing a split stay this year (1st time ever) renting DVC points. Friday through Monday at Kidani and Monday through Saturday BLT. We can't wait!

My wife will be running the Princess Half and I will be spectating. Any tips if I want to see her on Main Street USA?

2013? That's interesting! You are the first and only person I've heard of who has gotten and reported such a pin. They must have been very limited! Lucky you for getting one!

I didn't get one, unfortunately. I'm not the one who said I got free dining, I was just offering an explanation. But back in October around the time the general public discounts for early 2014 were released, FD PIN's went out in a few waves. They weren't that rare; there were several threads on here with many people reporting that they got one.

I had heard about FD pins that worked for August- November but nothing for Feb. The Feb discount thread was ripe with people searching for one and no one ever reported any. That's why I thought that was interesting. I'll have to check back and see whatever became of it.

You are right! I went back and looked and towards the last 5 or so pages there were a couple people saying they got a FD pin. There was someone who also said they got FD as a bounce back offer. Lucky them!
