February 2012 Check-in!

I have been keeping an active, running list. Post 3 is updated 1-2 times a day.


I just changed the title to Check-in to avoid confusion.

I didn't see Post 3! I looked at Post 1, and then I looked at the last couple of posts on this page because it seems that most of the Check-In lists end up in the very first post, or they are updated by each new poster as they go along in the threads. It never occurred to me to look in the third post!

In any case, I will add in your thread to our Meet Sticky at the top of the page, for easy access!

Oh yea I've been waiting for this posting for months LOL.

I know! Finally I couldn't take it anymore and started it on my own.

DH & I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary via a trip to Las Vegas (for Super Bowl weekend festivities) then onto DL for 3 nights @ GCV 2/8 to 2/11.

I added you in to the Sticky, along with our March and April Check-In threads.

I can't believe it's time to start a whole new year of Check-In threads. I remember when I was doing this a year ago (updating the Sticky with whichever 2011 Check-Ins had been started). Time flies!

I'll be there in February with my best friend, but I'm still not sure on the dates. Need to meet with her soon to get those nailed down. I think that we'll be staying at the Tropicana Inn (it's the only place I've ever stayed, so it's just easy).

Cannot wait! My trip in December was fun in a lot of ways, but it was just too crowded for me to really enjoy. I'm hoping for much lighter crowds in February (we're obviously avoiding Presidents Day).

I went with my best friend last February and our trip started on Presidents Day. We only spent a few hours in the park that day. Wow was it crowded. It was pretty busy all week, but a great grown up trip.

Hi everyone! My family will be staying at PPH from Feb. 10 - 12 before our Mexican Riviera Cruise that starts on the 12th I'm really excited as this will be our first ever trip to DL!!!

My parents go out west or down south each winter .. this year is out west, so my brother and I are gonna go visit them this year and we have decided to go to Disneyland since the last time there was in 1980 ! Will be there from Feb 9 - 11 and have yet to pick a hotel. So excited to go back !!!

DH and I will be there Tuesday the 7th until Sunday the 12th - at the HOJO! We were **supposed** to go a few weeks ago but DH's canceled the vacation due to production problems at work.

The Dry Creek Longhorns family (well, just the DW and I) will be returning after 19 years - this time with no child in tow.
We are booked at the BWPPI. 23rd through the 28th, ACT-SNA (AA) and using Gray Lines Disneyland Resort Express R/T.

We are looking forward to a great time - and maybe even hoping that there will be some soft openings for Cars Land attractions while we are there.

My Mum and I are heading to DL Feb 20-26 to take advantage of my college spring break. We went with 2 friends for my bday in Oct, and it was a horrible trip (friends turned into greedy monsters!!), so this trip is to make up for it! Staying at the Carousel, first time staying within easy walking distance. Super excited!!

Myself, DH and DS are heading to Anaheim Feb.22-26, and staying at the Park View Inn. (This teacher needs a break from the classroom in February.)
Its been a couple of years, and we are all pretty excited!

By the way, Touring Plans has the cowd prediction for the 24th as a 9 out of 10. Other than the fact that it is a Friday, is there anything special going on? Its not President's day weekend.... EEkkk

We have and they do! It isn't anywhere near as extensive as Halloween or Christmas, but you can see the little touches. I just added a link in the third post to a blog that shows this year's decorations.

Other than a few events at the convention center near-by, I don't know why it's supposed to be busy. Strange.

Just booked hotel & flights today
