We've been married for 5 years. Ed proposed to me on the first night of our first Disney cruise in 2001 and we were married in October that same year.

How exciting Lisa, this is terrific. I hope that you do find someone to photograph it, are your girls upset they won't be there, or are you just not telling them?

LOL - they weren't there the first time either! and . . . I didn't tell them (about the renewal) although my oldest visits the disboards more than I do so she'll probably find out.

We were originally married in Greenbrier National Park in the Smoky Mountains on the side of a stream during fall colors! It was just us, the photographer and the minister.

Ok you guys. I have a secret. I wish this would be happening in week one of my cruises but I really don't like dealing with DU and judging by their slow response lately, I didn't want to leave it to them to get the details and be persistent enough to get the "right" answers that I got by using Barb.

I'm springing a vow renewal on Ed on the Thursday of our second cruise!

I really wish it would be in week one because I would invite all of you! I'm needing someone to photograph it for me (so I don't have to pay another $499 for a staff photographer) and I would feel comfortable with any of you helping me accomplish that. I'm closer to all of you than the cruise meet guys for 2/24. I've had longer to bond with all of you than them and they aren't as chatty.

If I can't hold in my secret and tell Ed, I'll let ya'll know.

The cake actually comes with a Mickey & Minnie topper on it. I'm sure this whole thing will be over the top in extravagence (sp) as compared to our wedding 5 years ago but heck . . . you only live once!

I can't wait until tomorrow when Cathy at Fairytale Weddings is back in the office!

What a wonderful idea Lisa! What date is your anniversary? Our's in October 10(10 10, can't forget that date), next October will be 20 years for us (that is the excuse for the 2007 cruise), although it is a stretch from February to October.

Congrad's Lisa. How exciting. I agree with Sue, to bad it is not on week 1 so we could all be there.

This September will be our 20th anniversary as well.

We are under three weeks from the start of our trip. We leave on the 13th to spend a few days at WDW.

OK, now I am dreaming of the UPS man.
Yesterday I saw him (for real) and told him I was expecting an important package. He joked and asked how Dave is doing on e-bay (Dave loves e-bay, LOL).
So anyways, last night I dreamt that that beautiful brown truck came rambling up my driveway, and I waited for 20 minutes as he unloaded various packages of "IT" shaped items (think of the e-bay commercials), but NO docs. He told me DCL decided not to send them to me because they ran out of paper and I could use our luggage tags from our last trip...
I have officially gone into DCL overload

Yes, that is correct, we are planning a DIS meet by the Mickey pool, and the ice cream place (scoops I think) at 3:00 p.m., it will give the kids a chance to meet and us as well. I have a feeling quite a few of us will meet in the terminal prior to that. I am staying at the Residence Inn, and Sue and I are already planning breakfast together there, we will be the 2 crazy women up at 5:00 a.m., saying is it time to go yet.
So if you are staying there, come and join us.

I will be the one at POR saying the same thing. Although that morning I am taking my dd to Bibiddi Bobbidi Boutique to get her hair and nails done.
