My husband I just booked this cruise with our DVC points today! Ended up with a gty room, excited to see what room assignment we get!
We are DVC and this is our 1st DCL cruise! We have done 3 NCL cruises. Just got off one this month! We could not pass up the points compared to the cash price!!

I still saw times available for all days even dinner on valentines day. We are doing brunch on the 13 and dinner on the 16. I wanted to do dinner on valentines day but dont want to miss the pirate themed dinner or be late to the deck party

My best friend and I will be on the cruise, too. We're so excited. It's a reunion of sorts. She lives in NM and I live in VA so we don't get to have fun together very often. Both 50-ish single women--both Air Force retirees. It's my first cruise ever so I can't sign up for anything yet and am very jealous of all y'all who can.

We've got room 6130 and second seating for dinner.

For you cruise vets, is there time to shop in St Maarten and St Thomas if you do one of the excursions? My friend wants to shop for jewelry, but I don't want to waste the whole day just doing that when there's such Caribbean beauty to behold.

Can't wait to meet some of you. Three months, gang. Time needs to speed up!!

Just finished making my Fish Extender gifts for the kids, didn't take as long as I expected. Now I can focus on the adult gifts!! I'm starting to get really excited and it kills me that I can't talk about it in front of the kids (ages 4 & 8) or else they'd be asking me everyday if it's time for the cruise!

Heather, here's an idea; let them make a construction-paper countdown chain. They can make the loops and number each link. They could even draw Disney and/or cruise images on each link. Hang it up someplace where it'll be visible EVERY day (like along the stair-rail, or in the kitchen ...). Every day, they can take turns removing one link, then they'll be able to see the chain shrinking, and whenever they ask you, you can just tell them to check the chain.

And no, tearing off more than one loop per day doesn't make the cruise come any faster

Hello! I have read back through the posts here and now am totally ready to jump aboard. February some how seems so far away! We were also going to tell our kids (10,7,4) at Christmas. (Maybe I'll wrap up a count down paper chain as their gift?!?) Each one had one for when we counted down to Disney last year and they worked great - especially for the youngest.

Oohh, I like the idea of the chain, just may have to do that! My kids do know we're going (we told them when we booked in March) but they think it's so far away that we don't talk about it in front of them to keep them from getting overly excited. I'm trying to keep them focused on Christmas so that the time will pass faster for them but I'm starting to get overly excited!
