Louise! I am a nurse too, but I am currently homeschooling my son due to his severe food allergies. We are a very friendly group, so don't hesitate to ask if you have questions The boards can be a bit overwhelming at first (so much info out there) but most of us have done this before and would love to help you out!

We just confirmed that my uncles are flying down from Chicago (dh and I moved 10 years ago to central FL from chitown) and joining us on this cruise! We are SO excited

I have a Son (Jacob) who will almost be 9 by the time we cruise and a Daughter (Ava) who will almost be 5. We've been on Royal, Norwegian and Carnival but this will be our first Disney Cruise!

We live right outside of Richmond, Virginia and will be cruising with another family that lives in Michigan.

I'm new to all this DisBoard stuff but lots of people have told me to check it out! I've heard some things about the Fish Extenders and the little gifts, that sounds like a load of fun, but how do I get involved and added to the list?

I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you!

I've had fish extenders on my mind 24/7 lately, I even had a dream about them last night! I thought about trying to make one, I'm pretty crafty but I don't sew. But after reading and reading and reading about fish extenders, I'm overwhelmed! I found a lady on Ebay that makes them, I just may have to take the easy route and consider it done! It would be nice to have that checked off the list of To Do's so I can start to focus on the fish extender gifts! Hmmm, what to give....

OK, I broke down and just ordered my fish extender on Ebay from Gradysmommy. Her extenders look so nice and after the recommendation on here I figured I'd take the easy route! Looks like I won't get it till sometime in December, but I'm very excited to see it! Now that that is done, it's time to start obsessing about what gifts to give!! LOL I'm a scrapbooker so I shoudl be able to come up with something crafty and cute. Hmmm, maybe I'll start shopping around for ideas one day this week. Has anyone else decided what to give yet?

I'm right there with you on not wanting to wait anymore!! My mom leaves this weekend for a cruise (not DCL) and I'm finding myself so jealous. lol

Luckily, I know what I want to do for the FE gifts just need to get started and already have our FE from our last trip.

Oh that's not fair that your mom is leaving without you!

I have lots of ideas for our FE gifts, but am waiting until January when my 2 friends I'm traveling with can get together for a weekend to make them. Maybe next month we will come to an agreement on what to make at least. Then we can space out buying the supplies. I'm trying to meet with them once a month to do cruise planning activities. It helps to make the time go faster and keep the cruise on our minds.

Now I just have to get through my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and then...
