February 10, 2007 7-Day Western Who's coming?

You were in Raleigh? Cheesecake Factory is the bomb! Next time you have to go to the Airborne/Special Forces Museum in Fayetteville. It's only about a 45 minute drive and it is so incredible.

YES! I had a free hotel stay at the Marriott Crabtree Valley. So, the Cheesecake Factory was across the street! We went to the Monet exhibit, but I bet the Airborne/Special Forces museum is GREAT. I have a really good friend up in NC, so sounds like a reason for another visit!

Awwwww....Cheesecake Factory.....Yummmmmmmm...there's one by my mom in Southern Cal. We make sure to hit it every visit. Now there's one by my husband's family in Minneapolis. We hit that one too!!!

Went looking at formal dresses today for formal night. My daughter is a size 2 and we're standing at the "big" sizes in the store and she yells across the store "what size are you mommy". Could of killed her with my glare.

Actually they are in Eagan and Apple Valley, but we're willing to drive for cheesecake!!:rotfl:

John grew up in Eagan. My son was born at Fairview Southdale. We were living in South Minneapolis at the time. So I know right where you guys are!:)

The weather has turned cold, don't mind, we've been very lucky this winter. Just so it doesn't snow till after Feb 3rd. Been visiting the baby every day, a real cutie. We will be the everyday baby sitters on April 17th. I'm sure we'll get our fill of him. We will book a family cruise for 1/05/08 and it will be his 2nd cruise,(a real vet) as he was born 1/05/07. We leave in just 17 days. :dance3: :cheer2:

It got cold up here too! :cold: I was beginning to think my well laid plans to go south and cruise to escape the harsh winter were going to be foiled. But no, it's cold, it's icy, it's winter...

Have fun...see you the week after!:yay:

DH, DD, and DS's prate costumes arrived yesterdday! pirate: Oh my! they are so cute!!! Ok - DH is handsome . . . he would not like the cute comment . .. My made up costume doesn't hold a candle . . . . oh well . . . not going to do anything about it now.

24 days and counting!

My BF has been giving me tons of info. They have been on two of these cruises before . . . Didn't have the heart to tell her most of her tips I already read on Disboard! Though the thing she did stress, that I am trying to take to heart, was to bring 1/2 of the cloths you think you need. Especially shoes. I think that will the the hardest!

Went through DS's clothes this past weekend . . . Didn't need much for him, yea! Though had to laugh . . . as we were trying on nice pants and shirts for formal night, he asked about his blazer. I wasn't planning on bringing it. Didn't want to fight to get him in it. Well he insisted on trying it on, and it is to small . . . no prob . . I have a dress shirt, vest and tie that will look just as nice. He had a fit. He insisted that he needed a black blazer for formal night. Note the color! Had to be black! This is the same kid that I have to fight to get into a button down shirt or a polo for church each week! Of course I went out and bought one . . . couldn't pass up the opprotunity to actually dress him up! It happens so seldom that I don't have to fight him! From little on he has had a very definate idea about what he wants to wear!

Have a great day everyone!

Hello - I am glad I found you all. We (DH & I) will be sailing on 2/10 with two boys (almost 3 and almost 6). This will be our first cruise. My mom is coming too! We are from NJ, and this morning when I woke up it was 14 degrees out - so we are really looking forward to this vacation.

Our pirate costumes are almost complete. DH picked a pirate shirt he loved off of eBay (I have to admit it is an awesome looking shirt), but it is being shipped from Germany, so there is a possibilty it's not going to make it here in time. I am about to start looking for back up shirts!

We've just pulled the suitcases down from the attic & this weekend I am going to tackle a majority of the packing :thumbsup2

24 days to go!! :cool1:

My BF just received the 2 mens Pirate Costumes that she bought for $14.99 and it only took 5 days to get. She said the costumes were as nice as the one that her DH ordered for over $80.00.

Don't forget to join us at the DIS meet right after the lifeboat drill and before the sailaway party. We will be on the deck right above the adult only pool.

We're supposed to get some snow in two days, we're hoping no snow till the 4th. Then it can do what ever. Haven't seen any cruise reports, would like to know the water temp at castaway cay :cool1:
