Feb trip to Tampa and WDW - Day 5 (WARNING PICS)

This was kind of our hang out day. Dh and mil and fil went golfing. We woke to a smoke filled area. The smoke from the fires by Orlanda had drifted to the Tampa area the day before and drifted north to the Homossasa area overnight. It was a bit hazy but we held out for a while before we did anything due to I had forgotten to bring dd's inhaler. So had to call the docs office at home and have them get a perscription for an inhaler called in to the WalMart in Crystal River. Very interesting waiting for meds at an area filled with older people versus in DeKalb where there are not just older people but also people more our age.

This was a smoky area. You can't really see it in front of you but ahead of us you could tell.

Given the fact we were not very far from the Gulf of Mexico, these signs were all along the main road.

This was a little beach area just about 15 minutes west of Homossasa on the Gulf. Beautiful little place.

I guess we take those signs for granted around here. Everywhere you look there are evacuation signs. People are usually evacuated up here since we are further inland! That beach looks great to me right now...wish i could go for a swim!
