Happy Solstice!

Just a few days late...This scary delay reminds me of the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter which was opened on June 20, 1995! In this theater in the round experience, featuring the voice of Tim Curry, guests were strapped in and subjected to a number of special effects in a dark theater as a once cuddly now scary alien escaped. A lot of people hated this show. It was rethemed to be Stitch's Great Escape just 8 years later. That show also didn't last and now the area is mainly used as a Stitch Meet and Greet.



Can anyone else hear Tim Curry as the robot S.I.R. telling them to "Seize the future with XS!" when they look at this picture? No? Just me? Let's move on to our color changes then.....

I went to Alien Encounter once, hated it, and have never been back in that building since.

I do remember Alien encounter but I didn't know it was Tim Curry! I actually liked it. I remember it being scary but fun scary. I did not like the Stitch version. I was not sad to see it go.

I never went on Alien Encounter as I was too scared to. Didn't know Tim Curry did the voice though.
