Is there such a thing as vacation "nesting"? I've been running around today tidying up so we can come back to a tidy, clean house. Maybe it is just nervous energy!

I LOVE coming home to a clean, tidy house! In fact, normally I de-clutter and tidy and then have my cleaning lady come right before we return so we really do come home to a clean house. But alas, not this time... we have been non-stop busy so I think we'll be leaving a disaster in our wake, and I won't do that to her...

Jenn - No cabin # yet and her grandson Peyton who is 8/9 is coming with her along with her daughter (his mom I take it).

Maybe Peggy could stick a note in our FE's, on our door, or write a message on everyone's white boards when she gets there.

I will be online up until Thursday night (we are flying down Friday morning), but I'll be able to check email (if someone sends me a PM) until I turn my phone off as we leave port.

I totally understand about wanting to come home to a nice and clean house. My cleaning lady was supposed to come this Thurs. and I called her and re-scheduled her to come the week we are gone....

I just got my FE in the mail today and it is beautiful, just the way I wanted! I was starting to be a little worried it wouldn't arrive in time, but now that it's here I can relax. Whew!

Now if the other things I ordered -- clothes from Gymboree for my kids and packing cubes from eBags -- would just get here, too, then I could really relax. Ha!

I totally understand your count down! We all have one of our own....I have 4 days left of work. 1 Quiz. 1 paper on Major Hiscompatibility Level (At the Molecular Level) that I need to finish before we set sail. I packed all the kids today. I will pack mine tomm. Wed night I will host a dinner at my house for my sons 5th birthday. Leave all Valentines things done. Then just count down, after Wed. night I should be all done and time for a little Malibu and Pineapple and relaxation.......

I am counting down the days by how many things I have left to do which is WAY too many. At this rate I feel like we'll never get to leave for the cruise!!

Question about dining. Do I just have DS7 wear jeans most nights to eat? I don't like the idea of jeans in the dining room at all but he only has one pair of khaki's that fit him and the rest are corduroy. I cannot see bringing them for a cruise. I would normally put him in a nice button down shirt and nice long shorts if we were dining in Florida. And sadly I am not buying anything right now because he grows out of everything mid season (reason why nothing fits) and had plenty of winter pants for here.

Hey I see no problem with that as I will be doing the same thing for my son Not to mention myself probably as well on most nights. I am not a DRESS kind of girl...but YES I am packing two dresses (one for formal night and the other for semi formal) and it kills me to dress up for those two nights...so I justify wearing NICE jeans and a nice shirt to dinner...Not that anyone is looking at my clothes anyways. We are eating second seating for dinner and I HATE changing clothes during the day each day just for dinner and then bed...sorry but I find it just fine to show up in nice jeans and nice dressy shirts...and even more so for kids My son would just complain and be miserable the entire dinner if I made him dress up each night (as would I) and after all...we are on vacation! But I wont come in with shorts or cut up jeans I do have class but I am just more comfy in nice jeans...I see no big deal

I haven't even begun to think about what I will wear! I am not sure if anything I own fits me! Including just last years shorts! I am a total jeans girl too but I am not sure if I have ever seen jeans in the dining room. Guess that is why I was so hesitant for DS. But really, who cares what I am wearing right? I'll look nice and be clean.

DH doesn't want to do formal night. He says he wears a shirt and tie every day to work and wants to relax and be on vacation. I can't really argue with him so we'll see what comes of it.

Personally I think it is ridiculous to judge other people by the clothes they wear because you never know their circumstances AND - who cares? As long as nobody turns it into a nudie cruise with my kiddos around, I'm all good!

I am in shock we leave the day after tomorrow. It's finally here!!

I am pretty sure we have been upgraded but I would appreciate your input. My stateroom # on the Disney site now states 6058 but it also says it is still a cat 9 room. I emailed my TA to clarify but I haven't heard back yet. I am hesitant to get too excited in case they made a mistake. If my room has changed from 2116 to 6058 I think I have a verandah and the room is a bit bigger??? Did anyone else have a change made to their reservation? I am surprised that I didn't get a call or an email about it.

Awesome upgrade!!! I believe the verandah has 268 sq feet vs 226 sq feet for the outside cat. 9.
