Feb 6 2010 7 Night Western

As far as clothes go I see nothing wrong with a pair of jeans and a nice t-shirt for the kids or adults. I am bringing all capri pants....I do not own a dress that fits right now...and I refuse to buy something I will wear once. We are skipping formal night and going to Palo....other than that we will be in the main dining room.

I'll be mixing and matching - sundresses, capris and a dress for each formal and semi-formal nights. I don't really get to dress up much these days being a SAHM so I like to get a little dolled up when I can!

How many of us have the early dining rotation?

I remember you saying that your son Will is having his 9th birthday on the cruise. Which day is it as my sons will want to deliver a birthday card on that day. My 9 year old will be excited that there will be kids his age to hang around with at the clubs.
Both boys are still cluelesss that we are going on a trip. It has been very hard hiding all the luggage from them. lots of late night packing for us. I think it will be worth it to see the look on their faces Thursday morning when we head to the airport.
Is anyone else staying at the Country Inn and Suites? We are staying for 2 nights and checking out the area to pick up some wine etc.. before the cruise.

I know Shannon and her husband as well as our group are staying at the Best Western. I booked with AirMiles. I wanted the Radisson, but c'est la vie. It was free... more money for other stuff!

Who else is staying in the area the day/night before?

For those you staying near the port the night before, do you leave your car at the hotel and take a shuttle or drive to the port?

Hmm, I bet some of you are flying so you can't answer that.

IF you take a shuttle, how has it worked. As in once you get off the ship. I am concerned about how long we'll have to wait in order to get back to our car.

More then likely it won't be an issue since we can't even leave until DH gets off work Friday! It is going to take 2x as long to get there trying to get through Atlanta traffic on a Friday night!

I am pretty sure we have been upgraded but I would appreciate your input. My stateroom # on the Disney site now states 6058 but it also says it is still a cat 9 room. I emailed my TA to clarify but I haven't heard back yet. I am hesitant to get too excited in case they made a mistake. If my room has changed from 2116 to 6058 I think I have a verandah and the room is a bit bigger??? Did anyone else have a change made to their reservation? I am surprised that I didn't get a call or an email about it.

We were upgraded early January and got a phone call two weeks later. We didn't ask for one but were happy to accept

Im off to check to see if my room number is still the same...oh a room upgrade would be nice but Im ok with the one I have if It happens to not happen for us

WOW Just went on to check and in my 5 cruises before have NEVER been upgraded but....YAHOO!!! we've been upgraded as well!!!! It now says our stateroom number is #6080!!!!

We are all so excited!!

So Just letting all the FE people know that our new cabin is # 6080!

We haven't been upgraded but we have connecting rooms so I wonder if that is making the difference.

I noticed that ours is saying the same thing...still says Category 9 ocean-view, but the room number is changed so I am going with that and thinking that it means that we have been upgraded

Our new room # is 6058. My TA looked into it and the reason the Disney site still says cat 9 is because that is what we paid for. The new room is cat 6. Sounds like some of us may be close to one another. Glad you got an upgrade too Taz.
