This is our first cruise and we are very excited so I can understand why Chelsea wants to take it all in. I think the 9th is still free on the FE exchange but if you read through the last few pages of posts you can confirm that.

I just realised that I don't think I told you guys that we have never taken the kids to Disney World or any of the parks and my husband and I haven't been since we were about 15.

Yes I do not blame her at all for wanting to take it all in, it will be fun. I still remember my first Disney Cruise (and first cruise ever) as well and it is something I will never forget.

Jen- Wow this is going to be so much fun for you and your family! I'm sure that this will NOT be your last...The Disney Cruise line is VERY addicting! I start having Withdrawls if I go too long without one in the works

The 9th would be just fine if that is ok with everyone else for us to give out our exchange gifts Like I said...we are so happy to be cruising and I cant wait to start getting together the gifts

I was just wondering if anyone in our meet has a child (who is on cruise) that has an allergy or a special diet. My 7yr old, Caitlyn, has Celiac Disease and is on a strict gluten free diet but she absolutely hates being different.

Hi everyone! My name is Ruthie and DH and I and our 1year old DD Avani will be on the cruise with you guys! I have been on over 12 cruises but never cruised with Disney! Have wanted to but DH hasn't wanted to in the past....but now that we have our DD he is game!!

I just found this site and excited to see this thread!! I procrastinated and didn't get signed up for Palo's
I reserved some flounder nursery time for Avani on our sea days and reserved 1 excursion in grand cayman....not sure what else we are planning....

we live in Orlando and go to Disney quite often!! Looking forward to chatting with you all over the next few weeks!!

Thanks! I think the cruise crisis is behind us! It seems that the week of inventory was changed and so DH wasn't going to be able to come and I wasn't gonna sail without him (even though he tells me all the time to go on vacation without him). His district manager has gotten someone to come to his store and cover him. We'll see if it really stays that way! It sure as heck better!!!

Our tags/docs aren't here yet either. Of course they probably have to go from FL? to our TA in WA? and then back here to IN. Bummer.

-2 wind chill here today with about 4 inches of snow. Sigh. Only about 20 more years until I can retire to FL!

In the midst of buying a new dress for formal night.

Does anyone know the LATEST time you can leave the ship? Our flight is at 2:40pm, so we'll be in no hurry.

I think you have to be off by 9:30 am. It might even be earlier. I know I just read it!

I of course am so busy right now that it is killing me! I want a little time to prepare for this cruise and have some fun!

Hello all! My wife and I (both 30 and no kids) will be joining you to the Western Carib.

This is our 5th DCL cruise and we typically head to Seven Mile to hang out on Grand Cayman. However, we've heard that Cemetary Beach a little farther up is more secluded and has excellent fish. Wondering if anyone had been there before, or if anyone might care to join us on a trip there.

I've been told it can be relatively deserted and we certainly don't want to be the only ones there! A few extra friends might be nice.

I, too, have to eat gluten free, so I plan to fill out the medical form soon and turn it in. I will be so sick if I eat anything with it. I just have to decide if I want to be sick and eat the yummy food or try the altenative and hope it is as good.

There is a picture/map of each deck on DCL web site, that's how I saw where our room is. However, when we did this last time, it was not too hard to find them. Since our room is 2554, it is on the 2nd deck and the signs for the rooms and which way to go for what numbers are really good. We had no problems and had three pages of people. This group seems like it will be smaller.

Please add my friend and I to the FE list! I started making a FE last night. I am trying to add clear pockets to customize per trip as this will probably be my only "girls" trip for a while....a family cruise is coming up in November....so I would like to make it versatile.

First off, so glad it's working out and you'll be able to join us after all! I'll still keep my fingers crossed for you that there are no last-minute glitches, though...

When we got our first package of paperwork from the TA, it contained confirmation of our reservation, a brochure, plus some other papers. One of them was a folded paper with all of the deck plans on it -- I think they are on the inside of the paper, so from the outside it doesn't look like anything exciting. Maybe you still have it?
