O.K., phew... I'm done reading. I'm hoping my replies count as posts. I'm totally awake and thinking about a million things needing to get done before the cruise -- including answering all the questions. I hope I get to play!!!! This has been fun reading everyone's tips and answers. Thanks to those who organized everything and got the ball rolling!

So happy to have some locals with me, I'm from Portland, and everyone else is from California, or Canada it seems ( a few others, but mostly there. ) so it's nice to have some people who feel for my hatred of rain and grey overcast days.

I second Hawky7, let each family decide, if they can take on additional people, awesome, if they can't, that's fine. I think it's better for Lilow and Krilper to be able to participate with at least some of the families. @Lilow & @Krilper some of my stuff has been ordered already, and I'll have to give you alternates, but it'll still be comparable

What excursions has everyone booked? Has anyone booked non-Disney excursions? (today's question of the day has been brought to you by the letter BrentM3)

We haven't booked any excursions. With our DD2, we're excluded from pretty much every excursion we want to book. We'd like to take a whale watching tour, but only a short one. I have a tendency to get motion sickness and I don't want to be stuck on a small boat for several hours possibly throwing up. We're trying to find a non-Disney excursion to book that will allow DD2. I tried calling one company with amazing reviews and an amazing website (I did tell them we'd be arriving from DCL) and they claimed they didn't have the excursion that is clearly listed on their website. I'm wondering if they're not "allowed" to book us. Any recommendations would be thoroughly appreciated. Keep in mind, we don't want to take a taxi anywhere because we won't have DD's car seat and we don't want her lap sitting in a taxi. Also, she's 2, so anything 3+ won't do.

And, yes I can related to how you feel about the weather. The sun is shining today but it's slick as butter out there in the shade! I'm tall and it's a long way to fall down! Hi PrincessSophiesMom: My answers will be in waaayyy before my 24 hour deadline. I was up most of the night reading and answering and then couldn't sleep!!!! Gotta run but answers are done. Just want to edit!!!! I'll post asap. I totally understand about families needing to decide if they can take on additional people. This has been a huge learning process. I think I thought that we just bring gifts and didn't realize how it all worked. Now we know! You all have really helped get me ultra-excited for our cruise!

We plan on going to Crown Paradise in Puerto Vallarta and buying the day pass, then you can eat, drink, and be merry all for one price, and get to use their beach and pool. Sounds good to me! In Cabo, I want to take a water taxi to a beach I think. I'm also REALLY hoping for them to have some smokin deals on the spa for port days, I love the spa, but Disney is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced for their spas... Usually on port days they offer deals, because everyone leaves, so I'm banking on one day in Cabo to hopefully by my relax day. Which, I'm also doing today, and I can NOT WAIT!!! Sooo exhausted from Holiday!!! Glad my days are finally not nearly as stressful, and I can actually spend some time on here!

LOL, that sounds like what one of my friends who lives in Spokane says. Do you guys know anyone who works at Ann Taylor Loft there? I was a Store Manager for them for 6 years, and know both of the managers there (Heather and Alex), they are awesome! Figured its always worth a shot to ask in a smaller town right?

In PV we are doing Las Caletas. Kids are old enough to enjoy it...

In Cabo, Day 1 we will take a water taxi over to the beach and hang out. Probably have lunch in Cabo first, then take a water taxi out to the beach.

Day 2 Cabo we booked pezgato whale watching. Sounds fun!

Day 2 Cabo - Palo reservations that night! Yummy

We haven't booked a thing! I have no desire to even get off the ship! I've been to Mexico too many times to count, so like Hawky7, I plan on taking advantage of an empty ship. I might possibly, maybe put my feet into some sand, or maybe that hotel situation, that sounds good. What's a day pass cost on that?

We plan on going to Crown Paradise in Puerto Vallarta and buying the day pass, then you can eat, drink, and be merry all for one price, and get to use their beach and pool. Sounds good to me!
