We are going to try for port upgrade too...fingers crossed for the Walt Suite... bahahahahaah . But really, I hope they have some verandah rooms left!!!

It is looking promising. I don't think they'll book a whole lot of rooms with only a month to go. There seems to be every time of Vernadah still available. We're hoping to move from our navigator's verandah to a 1 bedroom suite (but it looks like they're sold out) so i'd love a verandah with the clear glass.

Super Bowl doesn't start until after 330pm, so a 3pm quick meet and greet should be fine. I heard they don't do the safety drill on Super Bowl Sunday, but wait until the next morning.

A little behind on questions:

Christmas eve was spent with my husband's side of the family, Christmas day we did our traditional wake up and open santa gifts and eat cinnamon rolls. My kids found out we will be going on a cruise! Had a special gift for them to open and found out, it was awesome! then Mickey called them to let them know. Then my family came over for lunch - my mom made tamales, they were amazing!

Best gift: Disney annual passes from hubby
Best disney food: churros and coffee!
Unique thing to pack? maybe binoculars if they fit in my luggage LOL.
No surprises on board I don't think we can handle more excitement!!

Have you ever had an It's a Small World moment?

I have dual monitors in my home office (double edge sword). On my left monitor, I was looking over the latest FE email from Hawky7. It listed out all of the participants. On the right window, I had Facebook open and it featured "some people you might know" based mostly on mutual friends. As luck would have it, DisneyLago's name was on there! I was like, hmm, what are the chances...Well...she does live in OC. I'm going to message her and find out! Hey DisneyLago, by any chance do you know C.W. Holy cow! You do?! Even smaller world, we are both on this ship, in part, because of C.W. and his family's urging. C.W. and his family should be receiving a commission. Can't wait to meet you DisneyLago!

That is crazy that you and DisneyLago have a mutual friend, it really is a crazy world huh?!?! We are friends with everyone on FB from our last cruise, we even have a FB page! LOL, we were a slightly insane bunch, we had like over 200 pages going, and we all sat together at Dinner and such. Super fun! I love that we have the Disboards to get to know people before the cruise and then have some familiar faces on board!

We're celebrating a similar thing! Between death in the family to missed promotion at work, this is much needed!

@Hawky7 Planning and researching the cruise is my form of meditation. Stresstull day? Straight for DCL! Ha ha, I've read through the thread that doc was compiled from, and then I emailed the poster for the doc and proceeded to read it. Seriously useful info on there.

We'll be going on the February 5th cruise too! it will just be DS (4 years old), DS (9 months old at sailing) and my mom and me. My husband owns a liberty tax franchise so he'll be crazy busy with tax season so when I saw the kids sail free my mom and I jumped at the chance to take a cruise. We're super excited. I've sailed twice on Disney but this will be the first time for my kiddos.
