Feb 29th Birthday

My DS is having his 2nd birthday on Feb 29th. DW is a teacher and they have the week off. She is taking him and DS 10 to Chuckie Cheezes for lunch. I am taking a long lunch to join them.

I tell him this is your 2nd birthday but he says "Daddy I am NOT 2 years old"

We will have a cake with a #2 candle and 6 regular birthday candles.

DW told him that his birthday is so special that it only happens once every 4 years. He wants a "regular" birthday like everyone else.

Does anyone here have the same birthday as my son? If so Happy Birthday and enjoy it because you only get one every four years.

My birthday is not on the same day, but it is on Sunday and I wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your young man!! I think it is very special to only have a "BIRTHDAY" every 4 years. Not many people can say they have that!!!

Have fun with Chuck E. Cheese, and eat lots of cake for me. When you get to be my age people don't get you cakes anymore..
