We're pin traders ... Got hooked on it back in 2005. I have to admit we do more buying than trading, though. DD does not like to give up the ones she has

I have several I never trade too I have 2 billed caps, one with Donald and one with Goofy and I have several pins on them I dont trade but I also have several that were inexpensive that I do trade if someone wants to trade. They are nothing special like real hard core collectors have.

But i have fun with them.

On my last cruise there were 6 of us who liked to trade pins and 2 young kids and we had a small meet to trade on board. It was fun and I came home with 23 new pins!!!

If anyone wants to trade pins let me know and we can arrange something.

They do have one meet with the Officers for trading on board but I have never attended it. Usually we are at dinner at that time.

I just spent about 2 hours working on FE gifts. So far so good!

I stopped for awhile because its trash day and both my dogs go crazy when the trucks come by. Too hard ot think while they are whoofing.

Anybody else an animal lover here?
What type of pets do you have?

I have 2 rescue dogs. They are my little girls.
Minnie is named for, you guessed it, Minnie Mouse because she is black and white. She is a Boxer, Boston Terrier mix and is 82 pounds.
Pixie is golden lab and grey hound mix and is my little one at 102 pounds!!

If I put on skates they can take me for a walk.

We are trading for the first time. The kids are very excited....we are just trading for fun though...not collecting really. That still counts, right?

We have two dogs. They are precious! A 5 lb Pomeranian named Crunch and a schnauzer/poodle mix named Bingo. Can you guess which one the kids named? Lol

I just ordered magnetic paper from Amazon. I can post once I try it (still need it to arrive to me)...I went back and forth about which way to do them... This trip I'm going to pay more attention to what others have done on their doors to see what I like best.

This came today and they have printed great! I'm very pleased. Almost done with my magnets. Another off the TO DO LIST before the trip. Very excited!!! Warm thoughts for the weather!

We are pin traders too but I don't feel like the cruise is the best place to trade. We will take our pins and do the Saturday night thing on the ship but it is so small and not a lot of other opportunities to trade (unless I'm missing something).

Sorry to hear you had to do that. I dread the day we loose ours.
No more after these two are gone. At my age by the time these are gone, a new dog may out live us and I dont want that.

Just one night is right, although I did see one CM standing outside one of the stores on and off with a small black bag hanging from his waist and it was covered with pins for trading. But I didnt bring any pins that trip.


I have some I will never trade that are my sons. He gave them to me. He earned them while working at Disney and 2 were presented to him by the VP of Epcot. Plus his Guest Relations D pin. I hope some day he may want them back tp pass on to his family if he has one someday.

We currently have 3 doxies. Tinkerbell, Peter Pan & Sophie (rescue). Just last month we had to put our 14 yo black lab down. She had a great long life and is at the rainbow bridge now, and in no pain!

I've been working my tail off on my FE gifts! I'm an avid crafter, so this has given me so much pleasure to makes these gifts. My dear hubby keeps telling me, we are only on a 3 day cruise, are you going to be able to give away that much stuff within those 3 days? LOL!!!! I told him, but of course!!! We are night owls, so make sure you check your FE's in the mornings and throughout the day!!!!!

I get a lot of enjoyment making things too accept I am not crafty but I try and it comes out good enough to give but nothing fancy.
I also buy a few things to throw in with my home made items. My husband says the same things to me.

Plus,
How are you going to fit all that in 2 suitcases with all our other stuff. I tell him not to worry I can always leave some of his clothes at home if I have to.

Last cruise I had to use an extra backpack to get it all on board.

I have no real stuff to do today so I am going to work more on my FE stuff today.
I may go to WDW and do some Mini golf today with my son. Thats our tradition while DH is gone for business. He always beats me, but one of these days I will beat him.
