What is the last date that we could sign up for the fish extender. This isn't really a me (husband) type of thing, but my DW might want to join, but she has been too overwhelmed with the holidays to think about it.

I am glad to be joining DISboards. My family and I are getting excited for this cruise in a couple of months! Sailing will be Myself (Cary), my DH Ken, and my Adult DD Allison. This is our second Disney Cruise, and my daughters first! We have joined the FE list and are looking forward to a great cruise

to the group!!!!

With the holidays/cruise reveal over, I am officially ready to be active on this thread. The kids are excited about the idea of participating in the FE so I added our family to the list. Do we have a cut-off date for this?
Hopefully, we won't be in over our heads with this commitment as first-time cruisers. super excited to be able to talk openly about details with our kids now!

Well we are down to 48 days! This cruise has been planned for over a year and i cant believe its right around the corner. I am SUPER excited, now if flights could be a bit lower it would be perfect HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Great to see all the newcomers to the thread! There have been several questions about when the FE group is closing…We are 6 weeks out from cruising as of today, so my vote would be to close the group pretty soon.

Should we set a hard close date of next Sunday, January 12? That gives everyone 5 weeks to get it together, and ship stuff to the port/hotel ahead if they want to. Thoughts?

Hey!!!

??? on FE room change etc.

Usually someone puts a whiteboard outside of their room or a list of FE rooms with room# and DIS ID with pen (someone positive they will not upgrade/change rooms) - if anyone has a room change on the FE list they place the info. on the board/list (plus when giving you can make a special note on FE gift of room change - suggest doing this 1st/2nd day out if that is the case). Anyone doing the FE should double check the list for possible changes before delivery.

FYI Be careful when passing out FE gifts their may be other FE groups going on not on your list - just because an FE holders is outside someone stateroom does NOT mean they are part of your FE group.

Can't wait to go~~ packed a few things this weekend, SO HARD to pack for a 13 year old that doesn't have a clue we are going, BUT FUN!!!!!

For the FE? Sure! Just scroll up a few entries and click on the link for the FE spreadsheet (It is a Google Doc that Disney 1430 set up) and fill in your info. Welcome Aboard!

My understanding is that there is only a 'Formal Night' on cruises that are 7 days or longer. I am pretty sure there will be a 'Semi-Formal' night though. If you go back a couple of pages in this thread I think there is a list of the different themes for each dining night during the cruise.
