Hi Everyone,

I've never been more excited for a vacation than this one! I think DD and DS are finally getting excited too. We have early dinner seating would love to link seating with anyone else on the early. Dinner is the one thing I'm insisting the kids do with me. DS tried on his dress pants yesterday, too small of course, so it's back to the mall this weekend. I'm already half packed and already know what the other half will be.

Haven't been on here in a few days and need to catch up on lots of posts! We are doing the "Happy Dance" today got our cruise docs in the mail!!
Note to "Hockeymom" we are also early seating and have a almost 12 yr old son ...10 yr DS too! Maybe we could link our seating up somehow. Haven't done that b4 tho so not sure how to.

Need to get working on packing! DS's dress clothes seem to be fitting good so that is a relief. Now onto all of mine stuff...Yipes!

Can't wait to enjoy some tropical weather and meeting everyone!

It's easy to do.... one of you just calls DCL and asks to have your dinner reservations linked. All you need is the reservation# of the other party and the names of who is in the other party. Of course....if you want to switch to late seating, there are lot of us linking reservations and would love to have you join us!

Brooke is calling this morning to link ours and also Joy's. They won't have a table big enough for all of us at the late seating! I suppose they will just throw us in multiple tables in a section of the dining room. If we keep this up, we'll have an entire dining room to ourselves...The poor crew just doesn't know what is on the way...I hope they are prepared for us.

Patricia, I don't think she did. We don't have ours either. We most likely won't get them until 2 weeks before the cruise since we booked late and both booked gty rooms.

(hmmm.....interesting..... 2 Johns, 2 Kellys and 2 Megs)

Plenty of room for more to join! It's easy to do, all you have to do is call DCL and ask to be linked with us. PM one of us to get our reservation #, that's what you need to make the arrangements. If you're assigned early dining you can switch to late (and make someone on the waitlist very happy!) and join us too!

I did notice that we have Palo Brunch reservations on Thursday. It's at 11 a.m., so I should make it to the ladies brunch to enjoy the company - but I think I'll pass on a second meal.

Also, one page 14 (I think) it say's "Thank you for choosing to prepay your gratuities". I assume the booklets are personalized for each of us, but I don't remember prepaying our gratuities. That would be great if we did. Does anyone else's say that, but you don't think you prepaid? I was just curious. I guess a phone call to the TA is in order.

Hi Joy, congrats on getting your DOCs. I checked my DOC, which happened to be right in front of me. On my page 14, it gives me the GRATUITY GUIDELINES with 1)who needs gratuity 2)how much they should be and lastly it tells me that I can pre-pay gratuities to the servers and my stateroom host. So, I assume at some point you must have chosen to prepay or they were included in your plan (and all paid for)??

I would love to come to lunch that day too but we have Palo reservations for 11:30....not sure how long we will be there. I will try and make it by for coffee ( with some Baliey's of course )

I don't pack until the night before I leave (or day that I leave)! Barabara, you don't even know your cabin number yet!

Hey, I just saw this post on the main board about wine:

"We were on the Wonder in Nov and had brought a couple of bottles of wine onboard to drink in our cabin. I asked our waiter and he said we could bring them to the dining room. No charge if we brought the bottle in already uncorked. I saw a couple of other people doing this and walked by the head waiters and no one ever questioned me or mentioned charging me a fee. We brought in a bottle 2 nights."

If that's the case, we don't have to worry about just bringing in a glass, we can bring a bottle with us each night and open it in the room before coming to dinner. I would much rather give my servers extra tip $$ instead of paying $15 corking fees --- that I imagine would go to the ship.

I was just at my hair salon and the girl who does my hair is a big Disney geek as well. I told her about all the cruise plans and she came up with one none of us thought of yet. She said we should all get a photo done one night in the lobby. Isn't that a great idea? Want to do that one night?
