Feb.13th(lucky for some) 2010 Eastern Valentines Cruise - The Love Boat Sails Again !

We are a dieing bread my friend!!! I do all the corporate travel for a Student Tour company based here in Charlottesville, but we also have offices all over the US.

I work for a wholesaler and do alot of group travel for college alumni groups. We focus mostly on International travel and are web bases which is very nice. We do alot of bookings for travel agents as well.

We have an office in Philly that does all of our Alumni groups, most of their travel is international as well. My office focus is our 8th grade student groups to DC, NYC, BOS, PHL. But as I mentioned I don't handle those groups any longer I handle all the business travel for all our offices. I am one of the lucky ones as I get to work at home which is WONDERFUL!
:cool1:

Check...your PM message I just sent you a message :)

Karen, do you have formal excursions planned for St. Marteen and St. Thomas? Brooke and I are planning to just hit the beach in both places. No formal excursions. My 6 yr old dd also just likes to hang at the beach for the day. We pack a cooler and go.

We've never been to St. John, so are thinking about taking the ferry from St. Thomas to a beach on St. John for the day. We have a friend who goes to St. John all the time and she's going to recommend a beach.

We were thinking of going to St John on the ferry too! I'm a HUGE Kenny Chensey fan and I thought I would pray hard and see if I can track him down!:rotfl: I'm really sad aren't I:lmao:

In St Maarten we're just going to walk to the beach (Great Bay). Cheap day- we'll bring food and drinks, rent chairs and an umbrella. We're beach people so we'll make a day of it. You can also take a water taxi for (I think) $3 or $4 pp if you dont want to walk.

In St. Thomas we're also doing the beach, but will do an island tour first, because Jody has never been there and it's so beautiful, I wanted her to see it. The tour and ride to the beach/back to the ship (or shopping, whichever we decide to do) is cheap too, $25.00 each with a company we've used several times (AirForce One Tours). Everyone is welcome to join us for anything..... we love company!

I would love to go to St John , but our reservations are already made, and, I have to admit I'm a little afraid of how Barbara will behave if there's a Kenny C. sighting. I will be on call on the main island in case $$$$ are needed to bail her out.

Anyone else link dining reservations? :grouphug: I love the idea of a large contingent in the same area!

Kim my advice to do would be get the Passporter Disney Cruise, ASAP from your local library. Try for 2009 or 2010 it give gives you exact directions from the port the cost & everything on your own.

Below is my report from last Feb. I didn't finish it, but lot's of tips too

Has anyone done the golf excursion at Mahogany Run, or is anyone planning to this time? I'm trying to convince DH to try it, since he loves golf.

My husband and a friend did it once. It was expensive but they had a great time and thought it was worth the cost.

Hi! Back from a whirlwind trip to WDW. The weather was warm, the lines were good, fastpasses for all the longer ones. Last night, we did practically ALL of Magic Kingdom. My DD is the fastpass queen, and runs to get them while we take DGD on a ride. We had a great time, but now it's time to concentrate on the cruise!!

It was easy to link the dining reservations. What you have to know if you do it is the other group's reservation # and all their names. The DCL CM also told me that if there were more people, they put all the tables in the same area so you can talk to the other tables, so it sounds like we just might have DISer dining going on.

Barbarsc--the Maio family lived on Homestead Road in Levittown and have 3 kids, Peter, Anne, and Margaret. I remember Reedman Auto. My neighbor growing up bought all his cars there. He drove like 3 hours just to look at cars!

Betty and I are in for drinks on the beach too. Konk Koolers, here we come!

Karen.......thank you for setting money aside in case I need it in St John!! :lmao:

Group dinner would be so much fun!:grouphug: Of course they might require us to give double the tip for putting with all of us :confused3:rotfl:

Wow...I didn't log on for a few days and I am pages behind. Love it!!

barbarasc - My DH Aunt lives in Levittown on Hunt Road. We have visited several times and love it there.

KimMS - I grew up in Bowie, MD and miss Annapolis alot. Hope to get up there in the next year or two. Truly is a small world.

Time is ticking away. We will be on the ship before we know it. Lots to do before than but it is getting harder and harder to concentrate on work. I think we decided not to tell the BD girl. We are just going to surprise her at the Port. She thinks we are going to Disney, which is partially true. :rotfl2:

We haven't told Kelly yet, either. Her birthday is actually the week after the cruise, but this is her gift. She doesn't even know she's going anywhere and has mentioned several times she "wishes she was going on cruise". ;) I don't know how I'm going to work it out, but I think I may tell her the night before that she's not going to school the next day, and is going on "mystery trip". We're going to WDW for Friday night, so we might continue the fun and just let her think she's going to be there for the week until Sat. morning when the limo arrives to take us to the port.

Hi Everyone,

I've never been more excited for a vacation than this one! I think DD and DS are finally getting excited too. We have early dinner seating would love to link seating with anyone else on the early. Dinner is the one thing I'm insisting the kids do with me. DS tried on his dress pants yesterday, too small of course, so it's back to the mall this weekend. I'm already half packed and already know what the other half will be.

See you all soon! (not soon enough!!)
