hey everyone. first i wanna say thanx for responding to my first post. now is fear factor open or not? which park is it in and where is it within the park? also are the lines for mummy dying down? wats the average wait? thanx in advance.

:cool1: :badpc:

Fear Factor has been open for a week now, so yes its open. The stadium for it is located at the back of the park between Jaws and Men in Black.

I would say the wait for the Mummy will never "die down" because there are always new people going there, so those will always ride it, and it's a great ride, so people will always re-ride it.

Fear Factor was open and so was the Mummy. We didn't do Fear Factor, but the Mummy ride was my favorite. On Thurs. we got there about 9:05 and went right back to the Mummy and there was not line at all. So grab an express pass for Shrek and go straight back to the Mummy.

Faer Factor is up. We went to Unversal in March and in May and the lines were about 15 min.

The wait times for the past week on ROTM have been between 20-40 minutes. Express usually runs out for ROTM around 2 or even 3 o'clock on somedays.

2 or 3 is late for express to run out at ROTM. It usually runs out by 1230.

I'm just saying for the past week it usually rus out around that time. I know on many other daysI have gone to get express for the mummy at 11 and the time period was for 4:50-5:50. Anyway My friend and I have tried getting it all week and when we go up at around 1:30 it is already too late to get it so I just naturally assumed that it would then run out about 2 o'clock.

Lines at the Mummy seem to die down (sorry, no pun intended) later in the day. Saturday afternoon, there was a posted 15 minute wait, but I'm not sure we even waited that long. Never seems to be that long of a wait on weekday afternoons (I usually get there around 5 or 5:30 if I stop over after work). Even at its worst, it doesn't seem to get as bad as the "E-ticket" rides at IOA. Just my personal observation.

Fear Factor Live is definitely worth seeing. It's amazing to see tourists who were walking around the park 90 minutes ago doing really intense stunts; I'm not even a fan of the TV show, but the live show had me riveted.

With Shrek, Mummy and Fear Factor, Universal is 3 for 3. They are doing a lot to turn around what used to be the most boring theme park in Florida.

Strange but true: around 8pm, the line at ROTM has dropped to under 10 mins.
