Favorite Wonder Category 6 room?

It might be a bit noisy when the shows are going on. If you're not sensitive to noise, or plan to go to the late shows, then it won't be a problem.

We have early dining, so wouldn't we end up having to see the later shows anyway?
I really know NOTHING about all of this! :surfweb:
We stay up late anyway, even my kids won't likely be asleep until after 10, so I don't think it should be a problem.

My husband and I stayed in cabin 6582 in June of 2007. The room was great - no noise, near the middle of the ship, and had a plexiglass railing. It wasn't far from the elevators or the laundry room but we heard no noise from either. We absolutely loved it. Be sure to take time to watch a sunset from your balcony!:)

I believe they can be made up to sleep 3 or 4 -- with the extra bunk in the wall.

Actually ALL cat.7 cabins (including the reclassified ones) only sleep 3 people.

The cat.11's directly across the hall from them only sleep 3 as well.

There is no pull down bunk in any of them.
Our room host said it was because of the structure of the ship in that area.

We stayed in 6576 in December and it was a great room! It was totally quiet, mid-ship, and the cool part was that, if you stood on the far end of the balcony (toward the aft of the ship) and the captain put out the stabilizers, you could see the starboard side one. Way cool! This is a starboard cabin, so also great views of Castaway Cay when docked (assuming the ship pulls in backwards, as it usually does). This room sleeps 3 and it does not have a connecting door. Gets my vote! :goodvibes

Oh I did not know that, thanks! There are only 3 in our party so we are still good.

I'd never know these things without this board!!

Our room is 6616...so is that one of the "good" verandah rooms?

We have the same cabin this upcoming June. When I looked at the deck layout, this cabin was not on top of the theater. Therefore, noise should not really be a problem. It is, however, right next to the elevators. Back in '05, we were in a cabin next to the elevators and it was never a problem. I think most guests are pretty respectful when walking through the halls, and try to "keep it down" a bit.

Then I wouldn't worry about it. My husband is an extremely picky sleeper so when our room was under the pool he was not happy. Same with being over the theatre. I could have cared less. Having an infant at the time, I was sleep deprived and would have slept through anything!;)

We sailed in connecting cat 6 rooms this past May on a 4-night cruise and loved the two rooms and the location. Not sure we could have picked better rooms for our family.

Just wanted to post back to thk everyone for sharing their experiences!

I had never even heard of the secret verandah room and REALLY wanted to book one but couldn't convince DH. :confused3

Our DU TA had reserved 6076, a port side room, for our quote. Based on fhtpdw20's :goodvibes detailed description we decided we wanted the starboard side. We gave the TA a range from 6598 to towards the front of the ship without adjoining rooms. She was great in letting me know one of those rooms was right opposite the laundry room :scared1:

She sent me another quote, guess what? 6598! I sent our deposit within 15 minutes :woohoo:

cheers,
:flower3:

Thst's great to hear - my husband and I have 6582 sailing on 12th October 2008 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks for posting!

:dance3: Hi we have been on four 7 night cruises and always booked a cat 5 on deck seven. We are now going on a double dip in May 2008 (Wonder) and have booked a cat. 7 room 6140. Has anyone ever stayed in this room and can you please tell me does it have the plexi glass on the bottom or the metal wall?

Thanks for any input on this room
