Your message reminded me of something my six year old said at WDW when he was about 3...

My husband and I we're exhausted from the parks and we were a little on edge as our two boys (3 and 7 @ the time) were running us ragged through the parks. We were at the transportation center heading to dinner at Chef Mickey. I looked over to my husband and quietly said.. "we're in hell!" Well, we got on the monorail and my 3 yo looked up at me and said, "Mommy, we're not in hell, we're on the monorail!!!" My husband and I laughed- as our son put it all into perspective. I still chuckle thinking about it!

Anyway, there should be a thread entitled, "Kid's say the darndest things at WDW!"

I vote for Spaceship Earth too - but rather than the current closing Jeremy Irons statement, I always liked the opening Walter Cronkite line, "For eons, our planet has drifted as a spaceship through the universe. And for a brief moment, we have been its passengers."

I've loved reading everyone's favorites, and the monorail speech is definitely one of our's too. But my all time favorite has to be what my DD 5 said to me while we were watching Fantasmic.

It was the first full day of our much anticipated trip, and I was feeling horrible from some little bug I picked up.....but of course didn't want to miss anything by staying in the room while the rest of the family was having fun. So, there I was feeling puny (and a little sorry for myself) as the show began.

After a few minutes, DD leans over and says, "Hey Mom, did you feel some magic get on you?" as the mist from the water was falling on us. I can't think of a thing in the world that would have made me feel any better at that moment than those words from that child. I think I really did feel some magic get on me too!

My new mail notification on my computer at work is "Welcome Foolish Mortals". I love it everytime I hear it. My DD & I also love the monorail track.

We have the soundtrack from the Haunted Mansion and play it every Halloween as background music for our decorated yard. I also like Madame Leota's speech from the crystal ball.
