On one of our Epcot days we have lunch planned at Akershus. Assuming we'll be good and full from that meal, I was thinking that might be a good idea to sample some of the wonderful snacks I've read about in years past in World Showcase. On our last trip, it was so hot and we were so full thanks to the DDP that we hardly used any of our snack credits and none of them at WS despite really really wanting to.

Please recommend your faves. Bonus if you have pictures!

Snacking around World Showcase is really fun :)

Anything at Karamel Kuchen (Germany) is tempting... I personally have had the caramel corn and a caramel/marshmellow candy and both were great.

The Kaki Gori in Japan is refreshing

Many of the treats at the Boulangerie Patisserie (France) are yummy too.. the lemon tart comes to mind. Also, the Grand Marnier Slushie...

The only snacks that I have found disappointing are the chocolate crepes at the crepe cart in France (they use a chocolate syrup and I was expecting something along the lines of nutella).

Kaki Gori is fantastic. It's really just shaved ice with flavoring but it cools you off.

Funnel cake..of course. They have some pretty good toppings for that.

Fish and chips. It's a big snack but it's really good. They also serve hot tea (if it's a little chilly outside this is really nice).

There's a stand over near Mission Space that sells aammaazinngg coffee and little snacks. We always stop by there.

You can always stop by the quick service place in The Land. They have a lot of options and it's usually really good.

I would really suggest Kaki Gori though :) Good luck!

Mmm...Watermellon Kaki Gori!!!!!!!!!, anything in France- creme brûlée is my favorite. I would post a pic of their cream puffs, but I'm not sure how to do that. A lot of people like the bakery in Norway too.

The caramel dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt from the karamel shop in Germany. It was huge and oh so good! I wish I had one right now:love:

When we go, we tend to just snack our way around WS. Some of our favorites are:

Chips (fries) from the fish and chip shop in the UK
Anything from the Patisserie in France (Dad lives for the elephant ears, I love the strawberry tart and chocolate cake when it's the cake of the day)
Funnel Cakes in American Adventure
Churros con Cajeta (churros with a fantastic caramel dipping sauce) at La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico

Not sure which of these are covered on the DDP, but just throwing out a few suggestions!:)

Everything we have tried was amazing but my personal favorite was the Napoleon from Boulangerie Patisserie in France.

Grey Goose slushie :)
