Hi all! Where is your favorite shaded or air conditioned place to sit and rest for a little while? Some places to people watch, eat a snack, make a fastpass+ reservation or check ride times, give the old feet a rest... I'm open to suggestions!

at the MK

COP
TTA
pillhermagic
hall of president
county bears ( pretty much any show)

any stores

just to name a few

but I will not give out my fraverate I want to feel them nice and quiet

There is a little shady area right by LTT in MK. You can sit on some rocks but dont go near parade time as they start roping it off for handicapped viewing.

Also the porch by Hall of Presidents has some rocking chairs.

I also like the area right by Sleepy Hollow.

When my DS and husband wanted to ride BTM and splash back to back, my toddler and I enjoyed the splash mtn play area - shaded, cool, and tucked out of the way where the kiddo could run and slide :)

Where is this in relation to the SM entrance? Or exit? I can't believe I've never seen this area before.

Head towards the splash exit, it's under the train station if I remember correctly.

ETA it's small, but really cute.

MK:
Old Hall of Presidents Gift Shop. It's now open and has tables and chairs and places to charge your phone
Epcot:
Hallway next to Club Cool and Character Spot, again tables and chairs and a/c
DHS:
Launch Bay
One Man's Dream
ToT exit
AK:
Hardest one to find indoor areas. The tables and chairs next to the Africa bar is a good spot

Like Meeko said its by the Splash Mountain exit. Go inbetween the SM entrance and the steps to the train platform. There's benches over there, little play area, bathrooms, water fountains, and this is also where Woody and Jessie have a meet and greet

yes also like you are headed to the bathrooms and there is a meet and greet back there I forgot who was the person I think someone for toy story is also back there.

MK - another one for the Rocking Chairs outside of Hall of Presidents. I also like to ride the Liberty Bell, it's a nice break.

HS - I used to like to go into the Writer's Stop and sit and relax, not sure now.

AK - there are lots of little cave like places along most of the paths with little benches in them. Also the Pangini Trail.

Epcot - the gardens in China have some little benches and so do the ones in Japan. Morocco has a number of little nooks and crannies. Back behind Great Britain in the gardens. Inside Mexico.

People Mover or Carousel of Progress in MK
Fountain view or Living with the Land in Epcot
I don't have a good spot in AK or HS

It's shocking how restorative a turn on the PeopleMover can be, haha. It has saved us from mass meltdowns on many an occasion.

Beverages are essential to our rest stops, so...

At Epcot, there many places in the world showcase, but don't forget about Club Cool. Also, drinks at Sunshine Seasons and Electric Umbrella used to be refillable (maybe someone can confirm if they still are).

At AK, Restarauntosaurus had refillable drinks and any of the shows are good for a rest.

At HS, Backlot Express also had refillable drinks.

MK:
Sleepy Hollow
Tom Sawyer Island
AK:
Rafiki's Planet Watch train to and from
DHS:
Animation Academy (idk if this is still open)
EP:
China pavilion museum (has benches inside)

In Epcot, the movie inside the America pavilion is great. Large, rarely ever full, air conditioning , and a lengthy show in the dark. Many rests for our family have taken place there!

Behind the Christmas store in Liberty Square-- there's places to sit, shade, and quiet.
Isn't that a designated smoking spot? I remember last year going back there to wait out a rain storm (through the back entrance of the Christmas shop) and choking because several people were smoking.
