We’re planning our December 2021 trip and are contemplating attending MVMCP. In 2018 we did MNSSHP and had a blast! I started planning that trip a year out as well so I followed along with the party posts for the year prior. With this years MVMCP being canceled I won’t have threads to follow! Trying to search in the threads just comes up with a lot of talk about this years party being canceled.

So please! Share with me your pros or cons, memories and photos, must do’s, things to avoid, favorite and least favorite parts about the party!
Thank you in advanced!

We went to the MVMCP in early December 2010. We had fun, but my strongest memory is how COLD it was. The temperature was in the low 30s. That year had record low temperatures and we were freezing.
I spent a fortune during the MMVCP because I bought a Mickey sweatsuit that was very expensive (but I didn't care at the time), two pairs of fuzzy Mickey socks, and a blanket with a picture of the castle on it. Luckily, they had free hot chocolate. We looked for all indoor activities. My five year old daughter had a blast at a dance party with Chip and Dale.
Ten years later, that night is what my daughter talks about the most when we discuss our Disney trip. It was her favorite thing we did that trip.
We are going back in November 2021 and hope that they have the MVMCP again this year!

Similar experience, our first trip to Disney was in December 2010 and I remember it being 37 degrees the first night in the park. We did the MVMCP and due to the cold no one was riding splash mountain. My son and I rode that ride over and over again after the 1st parade passed then went to BTMR and did the same thing. 10 years later he still brings up the time we rode it over and over again. We attended it yearly thereafter and always enjoyed it until we started going during the summer.

WDW during Christmas is amazing and the MVMCP was always the icing on top of the cake
