For the record...Yes, I know there are threads on this, couldn't find one. :surfweb:

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE DRINKS AT EPCOT?
We're not huge drinkers and would probably share. Have had the margaritas from the stand at Mexico. Anything unusual or really good wines?

:drinking1

We like several wines in Italy, but the two that I can remember are both wines by Castello Banfi. One is Rosa Regale, a champagne type rose wine that goes terrific with chocolate. The other is Le Rime, a white blend of chardonnay and pinot grigio. One other wine in Germany is Valkenberg Madonna. It is quite nice.

As far as beer, I like the Stella Artois in England and Dos Equis in Mexico.

Stay away from the Mexico margaritas...yuck!

I enjoy the Spaten beer from Germany. Italy has some nice wines, as does France. And don't forget the sake in Japan.

But my favorite is a Black & Tan from Rose & Crown in England.

Enjoy! :drinking1

If you like white wines, you should try one of the wine flights in Germany. VERY smooth, crisp, and a little sweet. We shared one on one of our trips. You get to taste four different wines, and it was an excellent value.

The Rosa Regale in Italy is also amazing. The chocolate they have available to taste with it is to die for, and the combination of flavors is superb.

Stella Artois is an excellent beer. Sapporo (Japan) and Tsing-Tao (China) are also good. I am looking forward to tasting a few new beers this year.

Oh my goodness, I'm telling you, you HAVE to try the KIER ROYALE at the France Kiosk! It's my absolute FAVORITE!!! I don't go to WDW without getting one! PLease do yourself a favor and try one!
:thumbsup2

The Limoncello in Italy is amazing! It's outrageously expensive ($7) for a tiny cup, but you have to sip it (strong stuff!) and so it lasts (typically about the same duration as Illuminations ;-). If you're full from a big dinner at one of the countries, this liquor actually aids in digestion! It's so smooth and sweet and just awesome!

Love that they have a sampling of wines in Germany. I have heard that they do the same with beer in UK. Anyone know of other "sample" sizes? Not looking to get drunk at Epcot but would like the opportunity to try all of this while having the ultimate in a designated driver (WDW Transportation System).

I know they have wine samples in France. I think they might have them in Italy also (not sure of that, though).

Seriously? These were my favorite drinks at EPCOT. I don't know what kind of tequila they use, but it is very smooth. I'm interested to see if anyone likes any other mixed drinks in the parks, or is everybody pretty much into beer and wine in the WS.

Bass Ale from R&C!! :drinking1

The trick to the Margarita's is to just get 1/2 kiwi and 1/2 original (lime) with sugar on the rim, yum-yum

My must do list.
1) Kir Royal in France (kiosk) easy on the Chambord (sp) this is how I know I am really back in the World
2) Kabinett Madonna in Germay (I like the flight too but I'm the only one drinking and I can't drink that much)
3) Margarita in Mexico (kiosk) 1/2 & 1/2 as mentioned above

I like
Sapporo (Japan) and Tsing-Tao (China)
and
Limoncello in Italy
also but reserve those for when I'm dining in those counties.

Of course there's always Beverley in Club Cool. There's a tasty one :)

I loved the margaritas in Mexico! I had the rainbow one. It was over 100 degrees the day I had it, and I savored every refreshing sip.

Definately try the Italian ones they serve them in the restaurant and also outside at a little kiosk they are frozen and contain Limoncella and Grapa
and on a hot day are so good not as tart as the mexican .
Last may when DW and I were sans kids I tried to drink epcot I got as far as Italy because of these, they were so good I had to get another

My favoirte drink is the Thienot champagne from the kiosk in France! Our Epcot ritual is for me to buy a glass of champagne in France, then DH buys a hal-and-half at the kiosk in the UK, then we go watch a st of the British Invasion. :cloud9:
