Favorite Drinks at Epcot

You guys are helping me plan my "Drink Around the World" excursion for our next trip (I've never done this before). Hey, I've gotta have something to plan with over 300 days to go. Do you guys have any suggestions for Norway, USA (I guess Bud Light or something, huh HAHA), Morocco, or Canada? Thanks!

I liked a drink I got in Italy last trip. I forget what it's called, but I think its almost like the kir royale (sparkling wine/champagne and fruit juice). It was very good. Not too potent, but a nice fruity beverage that wasn't too sweet.

Bellini !!! :thumbsup2

Sparkling wine and Peach puree (I made these at Christmas using peach nectar and an inexpensive champagne - and everyone that had a Bellini in Epcot wondered how I managed to get a bottle to bring home :cool2: )

This is my choice ... oh, and the mexican rainbow margaritas - YUM!!!!:woohoo:

:crazy2: BEVERLY :crazy2:

Okay, maybe not...

I vote for "Hooch," from the stand in the UK; it's like a Mike's Hard Lemonade. Speaking of lemon, Lemoncello, as a previous post said, is also good.

Scott in MO

I also vote for the Banfi Rosa Regale. My DH and I enjoyed it so much that we bought a bottle for New Year's Eve.

Icewine! Small glass, pricey. A very sweet dessert wine. We had it at the F&WF, so I'm not sure where to get it at other times of the year. But I'm pretty sure they have it in Germany and Canada.

After reading the other posts, I'd like to try the Limoncello in Italy and the Thienot champagne and Kir Royale in France.

Definately try the Italian ones they serve them in the restaurant and also outside at a little kiosk they are frozen and contain Limoncella and Grapa
and on a hot day are so good not as tart as the mexican .
Last may when DW and I were sans kids I tried to drink epcot I got as far as Italy because of these, they were so good I had to get another

Ooh that sounds good, I'll have to give one a try.

First stop is always the UK for a bass ale. Then to Mexico for a regular margarita(can they move Mexico closer to UK?) On hot days, this may last until Italy and an Italian margarita. Then perhaps a frozen daquiri or pina colada in Morocco. At night we change things up a bit, and drink cabernet from France and Italy.......try the Australian wine tastings during F&W festival.

I LOVE the "on the rocks" margaritas from San Angel. I LOVE the hard cider from Rose & Crown. A bit pricey, but so tasty!! :teeth:

We had a morrocan beer with our dinner at Merrakesh that was delicious! Sort of flowery, but not sweet. Sadly, I can't remeber the name for the life of me. I tried to find it online for weeks after we got home without any luck. Sorry I can't be more specific, but it is really good.

If any of you other Rosa Regale fans live in New Hampshire or Mass: Cappy's liquor store in Peabody (by the mall) has Rosa, as does the Conway NH State liquor store. Happy hunting!

No ideas for Norway, but hopefully someone else can fill us in.

Tangierine Coffee with Orange Liqueur
Kasbah Coffee with Hazelnut Liqueur
Casablanca Coffee with Vanilla Liqueur (the liqueur is Galiano)
Mimosa Champagne with Orange Juice
Moroccan Wine by the glass
Moroccan Beer Casablanca
Tangierine Cocktail
Strawberry Daiquiri
Tangierine Daiquiri

Norway:
Carlsberg Beer -- (no longer have Ringnes beer, which was awesome)
Wines by the glass
Viking Coffee - flavored with Kamora Coffee Liqueur and Bailey's Original Irish Cream

Found some notes I made 4 years ago during a 2 day beer fest. Let me preface by saying BUD is my domestic beer of choice, and Bass Ale is my favorite beer at Epcot. My "top 5" from that sampling:

1. Kirin - Japan
2. Ringnes - Norway (no longer available)
3. Beck's Oktoberfest - Germany
4. Moulson - Canada
5. Peroni - Italy

Besides the "every day" beer served in each country, there are additional offerings during Food and Wine festival. My wife liked the Tusker beer from the South Africa booth. Check out the DIS 2005 F&W booth menus.

Not terribly exotic but I always get a pint of Bass at the outdoor stand in GB and a frozen Marg in Mexico.

I had an amazing glass of wine in Norway, but it was years ago and I dont remember the name. I'm guessing it was some time of Rose b/c that's usually what I like. I LOVE the rosa royale or whatever in Italy, its sooo sooo soooooo good! We stock pile them at home! I also enjoyed the wine I drank in China. As for the Sake in Japan....YUCK! It was a hot and humid May day and that Sake made me want to run for the nearest toilet or garbage can! And if I recall correctly for this was at the end of our "drinks around the world" I enjoyed the mango margeritas in Mexico.

It doesn't matter where I am, it will always be "Diet Coke".

Definitely the margaritas INSIDE Mexico at the San Angel Inn. :thumbsup2 If you go in there and ask VERY nicely they will sell them "to go". :teeth:

Another favorite of mine is the Snakebite from Rose and Crown. I believe it is ginger ale mixed with woodpecker cider beer and maybe some Harp also. It's very good.

I like beer but I have a hard time drinking it in the heat. DH and I did the "german challenge" once and I failed miserably. :rotfl: On a hot day I just prefer a foo-foo drink. ;)

Oh, totally off topic from Epcot but there is an AWESOME drink at the WL that I love called the Lodge Fizz. YUMMMM :)
