Favorite Disney Sing-a-longs/dvds??

So I think I might go crazy is I listen to the Disney princess sing-a-long dvd one more time!! I love it...but we need something new!! Any suggestions...my DD is almost 2

Disneyland Fun! All 3 of my dds loved it. Youngest dd likes the Halloween one also.

2 is the age that my DD started watching the actual Cinderella movie DVD over and over and over. (Nothing really scary in that one, so it is a good starter Disney movie). Followed by Cinderella 2, over and over and over. Then Peter Pan, over and over and over.

I completely know how you feel. At age 1, DD became obsessed with the Disney Sing-Along Very Merry Christmas DVD. That is a really cute one, but it tends to get old when it is not the Christmas season. She alternated that one with the Pooh sing-along DVD over and over and over. There was a short time when she had to see one of those right before going to bed every night, or we would have a bedtime battle on our hands. Disney does have several Sing-Along DVDs, but most of them are out of publication and you have to find them on Ebay (some never even made it from VHS to DVD). Most of the Ebay listings will tell you what songs are on them. Most of them are pretty cute. Really by around age 2, DD stated to phase out of the sing-alongs and into the movies themselves. Maybe it is time, you started working in that direction.

As far as music, we are big fans of the Disney's Greatest CDs. We have volumes 1, 2, and 3. I think volumes 1 and 2, are the better ones. They have the Princess music included, but also lots of other good Disney Music. I think you can get them for around $10 each on Amazon. Warning....one of them has Small World...which DD likes to play over and over and which can really get stuck in your head!!

I like the WDW ones: Campout at WDW, Beach Party at WDW and Flick's Musical Adventure.

Disneyland Fun and Pongo and Perdita are also good.


For music-I have Classic Disney vol. 1-5 and then some of the individual CD's from the movies.

I'm not sure how many of these are available on DVD, because my kids are all in high school now. I bought all of these on VHS while they were babies, and we loved them all!

We are also big fans of Disneyland Fun. Dated yet timeless at the same time. I get a kick out of the clothing and hairstyles.

Disneyland Fun was the kids favorite, and mine too! This thread made me pop it into the VCR, which made my 16 year old daughter come out of her room to find out if Mom was feeling ok? Its been along time since we watched any of those sing alongs and it brought back so many memories of cuddling up with the kids on the couch to watch, and getting up to dance and be silly when their favorite songs came on!!!
Enjoy your precious time with the little ones while you can. They grow up so fast!!! My oldest son is graduating homeschool high school with honors this May and I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about where the time went!

Totally agree! Love to Laugh is a good one too-it has a picture of Mary and Bert on the cover.

We love DisneyLand Fun too! My kids have been watching that forever, and our VHS copy bit the dust a few years ago. We bought the DVD version, and now my little guy likes to watch it in French - which was filmed in EuroDisney and has different songs. fun times!

All of my kids love it. We have it in VHS, but don't have a player anymore so we can't watch it


Dd was so excited when the lady at O'Hana's started singing the "Hukilau" it was adorable.

Another vote for the Disneyland Resort sing - a - long DVD! You can find it at Toys R Us.

disneyland fun & the bare necessities have been my favorites for almost 20yrs now. don't get me wrong I like all of them but these two I enjoy the most.
