favorite deluxe resort?

I saw someone had put a post up about everyones favorite moderate resort and was wondering what was everyones favorite deluxe. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a savannah view last spring and LOVED IT (granted it was the only deluxe we've stayed at). This november we're splitting our time between AKL and the Wilderness Lodge. Anyone have any other favorites?

Disney's Contemporary Resort, it has been my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel & it always will be.

I am with you CR Resort Fan, the Contemporary Resort for me too! We have stayed at the Poly and although nice was not the same feeling as CR. Love that place!

That's tough .. I love the AKL and BW, but I have to chose the BC as my favorite!

I love BCV. It is our favorite, by far. I just love being in the Epcot Resort area and the convenience of the International Gateway.
I stayed at the Poly in April and I like it very much. I liked the convenience of the Monorail, but the BC is still our favorite.

Love that all rooms are in one building
Storm along bay!!!!
Rooms are wonderful
Beds are very comfy
Mousekeepers etc... were just wonderful all the time

I've only stayed at two. We did WL in 2004 and I hated it. We did Yacht Club last month and ever since we got home I've been trying to figure out how to get back there next summer. It was wonderful.

See it goes to show you that everyone's opinions are so different The WL is my absolute favorite hotel anywhere!!! I get chills when I pull up to the place, to me it's just amazing!

I'm in love with the Polynesian after our trip in June.

I have also stayed at Beach Club, Boardwalk Villas, and AKL.

Caribbean Beach is my favorite moderate and we also stayed at POR.

On a similar level OKW is my favorite DVC resort.

Currently
AKL is my fav right now you just cant match it for the overall experience with the animals and what not.

Very close second is the BW but we are dying to try the poly.

I guess I love them all for one thing or another.

GF all the way! absolute favorite and will remain so! It is just so BEAUTIFUL I can't get over it. Gets me every time... the Poly would be my second choice

We have stayed in GF, Poly, BWI,YC,AKL and WL. The WL is by far our favorite deluxe resort at WDW. The GF is our 2nd choice.

Definately POLY, and we love it even more with the new rehabed rooms!!

The ones I've stayed at (see below), are all very nice, but I would have to pick the Polynesian as my favorite. I have a problem with both the Animal Kingdom and the Boardwalk Inn because every time I've checked into one of them, I have been assigned a room so far from the lobby that I felt like calling a taxi to get from my room to the lobby.

The Contempoary would be my favorite if I could be certain of getting a tower room facing the Magic Kingdom on the 4th of July. I did that once (11th floor), and the fireworks were spectacular! However, there are two other buildings on that property, and I would hate to be put up in a room at either of them.

Of all the resorts I've stayed at WDW however, my favorite at this time is Port Orleans, French Quarter. I love the smallness of it.

The Poly by far!!! It has been a dream since the first time I was at Disney in 1974 to stay there. The Poly is quintessential Disney!!!

My favorite would have to be the Poly...unless I'm going at Christmas then I would say GF.
